The Farm
The Nelsonville Presbyterian Farm is land that has been set aside for recreation, shared connection,
Looking for a winter hike? The Farm has multiple trails that weave through the 300 acres of the upper part of the farm.
Work has started on a new sewer line at The Farm. This will provide the infrastructure for future improvement projects.
The Nelsonville Presbyterian Farm (The Farm) is located on Ohio State Route 328 just north of Union Furnace, Ohio. A blend of deep woods, ponds and streams, open fields, and rolling hills, this three hundred fifty acre property has been a part of the fabric of First Presbyterian Church for a couple of generations.
The Farm as a place for spiritual renewal, conservation, and recreation. Whether it be sitting by the pond with fishing rod and reel, taking a long hike in the back woods, or meditating quietly at the outdoor chapel, the same old charms enjoyed years ago can still be experienced now.
Nelsonvilleโs Christmas tree was harvested this year from the Farm! Thanks to Adventure Pro Outdoors River Trips for their help in getting it cutdown and transported to the Square!!
