Incredibly grateful and honored to be featured in the September issue of Tucson Lifestyle Magazine for the Santa Barbara Modern remodel project.

This is the second complete remodeled home I have had the pleasure of doing for these amazing clients. They purchased the home from zillow photos and waited paitently in Colorado completely trusting my designs and guidance.

This shot is the entry to the closet off the primary bathroom. Arching the entry, not adding a door and creating a vignette with their existing dresser make it open, more functional and beautiful.

Another day, another sexy chair. We are using this beauty in an upcoming project.

Many people tend to lean toward light + bright when designing their home. This staircase helps make a case for dark + deep via an earthy color palette and some unexpected curves, seen at this hotel in China, designed by Archetype Design Organization.

Everyone loves a good coffee table book. What’s one you recommend?

Interesting furniture never goes out of style. The craftsmanship on this walnut dresser is beautifully done.

Another day, other photo of some seriously sexy chairs. These are walnut + leather, and while the original artisan is unknown, the design shows similarities with furniture from Liceu de Artes e Oficios.

Do you get inspired on vacation? While this might be an extreme example, there’s nothing quite like soaking up your surroundings and bringing some choice elements into your own home - like this textured tile in Italy’s Amedeo Restaurant.

I’m always relating designing to picking out your outfit.

I tell my clients “You would never wear everything in your jewelry box at once, which is why you need one focal point, not 12.”

A lot of clients love so many cool things but there needs to be a balance between simplicity and wow — and usually, I go for one WOW!
