A Bedroom Remodel. The customer has painted the drywall and now Chuck just has to put in the trim. Pictures of the final phase will be posted soon! Here are some of the newly painted bedroom.

In A Bedroom Remodel phase 1 did you notice the white square of paper on the wall next to the porch door? It was a calendar, but not just any calendar! This calendar dated back to 1899! Here is a closer look! You never know what you will find in these older houses!

A Bedroom Remodel. Phase 1! The customer loved their living room remodel so much they had their bedroom done next. Here are the before pictures and demo pictures.

A living room gets insulation and a new look. Completed! All trim is up and the living room is done.

A living room gets insulation and a new look. Phase 2 complete. Drywall and paint on the walls and ceiling. Chuck installed the new drywall and the customer painted it themselves to save on costs. We like the color they picked! With the new white trim that will be up in the final phase we think it will look great!

A living room gets insulation and a new look. Phase 1 complete, demolition. We all know what it can feel like during the winter in some of these older houses when insulation is lacking. Cutright's Home Repair Service got a call to insulate and update a living room in one such house. The first layer was paneling, not so hard to remove. The second layer was an old version of drywall, a little harder. The third layer, wallpaper, was the hardest and most time consuming. Here are some pictures of the first phases of the removal and into the insulation installation.

An old roof gets a new face lift. Phase 2 Complete! Next is Finale Phase, the deck roof!

An old roof gets a new face lift! Phase 2 continued. We didn't get back to work on it until Saturday, but we got a lot done! Here is the update. 1/3 of the porch roof covered, had to start there due to frost on main roof. Over half of the main roof covered. 4 new sheets of metal roofing, along with water diverter and snow guard added to the main.

An old roof gets a new face lift. Phase 2! The far side of the roof. On Tuesday we moved a vent pipe for the downstairs bathroom, which was a pain, and installed 3 panels of the new Dark Red Metal Roofing. Today it rained so we were unable to continue roofing, but we are hoping to be back at it tomorrow. Stay tuned for updates!
