For 2022 Habatat's yearlong competition exhibition titled Not Grandma’s Glass continues. The story goes when I (Aaron Schey) started my career at the gallery the topic of a client's collection would often arise. When family was brought up the collectors would mention that the artwork in their home was referred to by the next generation as “Oh that’s just Grandma’s Glass.”

Da Ponte is February's Not Grandma's Glass (NGG) presenter and I am honored to have him join us to speak about his life, work, and career. His life began with his adoption. This experience eventually led to him discovering a personal balance between who he is and being who he is today. This event is happening today at 1:00 p.m. ET and will be streamed on Facebook!
