Moonflower is a tribute to our mother Vicki, who passed away from Stage IV colon cancer in 2016. Helping others that are dealing with cancer and other life threatening disease is why we are here, and to give our community something much more than just cannabis, and that’s love, support, and compassion.

Today marks 5 years that we’ve lost our mother, but we are so grateful for all of her teachings along the way. If we could give advice for anyone that is dealing with grief from losing a loved one, here are some recommendations outside of using cannabis to help fight depression and anxiety from our own personal experiences:

•Seek help whether that’s a friend, family member, or therapist.
•Give yourself time and patience to heal. Healing doesn’t happen overnight
•Healing others heals ourselves
•Learn to meditate and focus on finding peace within yourself
•Read books that make you feel empowered from within
•Focus on living a healthier life, physically, mentally, and spiritually.
•What we eat during tough times, can make ourselves feel better or worse
•We may have lost a loved one, but they speak to us through signs everyday.
•Do things that remind you of the good times you had with your lost loved one

If we can just help one person through what I’ve gone through it would be all worth the pain, anxiety, and depression I’ve gone through. Please feel free to reach out if you’re in need of some help or guidance❤️

A little back story on this project… one of our owners started his journey at Mercy Wellness Center of Cotati as a budtender while he was going to school and playing soccer on Scholarship at Sonoma State University.

Nico fell in love with the culture and the deeper meaning of what cannabis represented back in the Prop 215 days. Lessons of compassion, family, unity, and providing knowledge to those in need made him feel fulfilled and drove him to start his career in the cannabis industry.
