Monday November 4, 4-7 Dennis Foodland GRANT! Fresh squeezed lemonade 🍋 🍓

We will be closed this week to be in Black Mountain North Carolina at Cragmont Assembly Inc volunteering. November 6 we should be back to our normal places of setting up and can't wait to see everyone!

We had been looking for a place to go help feed those affected from Hurricane Helene with our food trailer and ended up getting in touch with Duke Spain from Albertville and he said they had tilt cookers, smokers and tractor trailer loads of food and a place for us to stay and that he needed us the week of October 21. We opted to bring our camper so the kids could have some normalcy/familiarity while we are here.

We are on the tail end of their 30 days working with CitiIMPACT and site leader John Walls. We have also worked along a couple of volunteers from near Tuscaloosa, Macon Georgia, and a couple that owns Earth and Stone Wood Fired Pizza in Huntsville Stan and Tina.

It is really touching to see all the donations and volunteers that have showed up to help. Cragmont Assembly have done an excellent job handling all the logistics with donations food delivery and welcoming and being very hospitable to all the volunteers.

When Cragmont opens back up for guests and reteats I highly recommend giving them your buisness and visiting their beautiful facility

More than ever we need volunteers! As we have went through this disaster relief effort it has been the volunteers on the ground who have made this mission possible. We have been mobilizing them since the start of this disaster and we will need them till the end. Please consider volunteering and bringing a friend with you!

We had previously stated we would not need more volunteers until October 14th however that need has changed, and we are now accepting all volunteers for any day that they are available.
