Some days at work are better than others. This morning Susie Barton and I were pleased to attend the Christening of the Cherokee the latest RailCar Ferry in the CGR fleet. Cherokee and her sister ship Mayan transport over 150 rail cars on each round trip voyage between Mobile and ports of call in Mexico. We have an export client that uses these voyages on a regular basis. Rail cars shipped this way move in 3 days what by land on rail between US and Mexico would take 2 weeks.
