The water main break on Park Avenue between Rita Avenue and Monticello Street has been fixed. EVERYONE ON PARK AVENUE FROM BROADWAY TO MICHELE DRIVE, PLEASE BOIL YOUR WATER BEFORE USAGE FOR THE NEXT 24hrs.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT DUE TO A WATER MAIN BREAK ON PARK AVE IN THE VILLAGE MONTICELLO, THERE IS A DISRUPTION OF WATER SERVICE TO THAT IMMEDITE AREA. THIS MAY AFFECT THE FOLLOWING STREETS:

MONTICELLO, ST, SUMMIT AVE, RITA AVE, MAPLE AND OTHERS STREETS IN THE SURRENDING AREAS.

The Village of Monticello Employees have been working for the last 24 hours and it is hopeful that this will be repaired at some point this afternoon.

Once this is resolved there will be a BOIL WATER ORDER IN PLACE, until further notice in the effective area.

Dave Wells and his guys were out at midnight working alongside our Village Crews all night long. Special Thanks to Superintendent Rich Benjamin for always lending the village a helping hand.

The Village of Monticello will be distributing Covid-19 Test Kits today, 1/19/2022, at the Village of Monticello Police Department. We will start at 10am until supplies are gone. Village Residents only, 1 per family. There is a limited number of kits, first-come, first-serve. Proof of residency required. Each municipality is distributing kits to their residents. The kits are being provided by the NYS Dept. of Health and Sullivan County.
