Come on out to the Farmers Market today and enjoy a snowcone served by Norwegian Grove 4-H. There will be a kids vendor market along with all your regulars. My new cookies this week are chocolate mint, chocolate stuffed Oreo and molasses.

The 4th of July themed birthday cake, vanilla cake with raspberry filling . Disney Wish cake, caramel cake with chocolate filling.

Its a beautiful day for the Pelican Market. I will have donuts, pies, 10 kinds of gourmet cookies, potato buns, cinnamon crimp bread and jams. New jam this week is peach mango, its so good!

The 2024 Pelican Market starts tomorrow 3-6 at a new location Veterans Park . Veterans Park is located next to the river behind Strand Ace Hardware . I will have two new cookies tomorrow, carrot cake and a funfetti cookie stuffed with buttercream. Both of these are 1/4 # cookies and are amazing. I will have donuts, monster , toffee, chocolate chip cookies. Cinnamon Krimp bread, buns and many flavors of jam. We will be there rain or shine😅

I keep sending orders out the door and forget to take pictures. A few that I remembered to get photos of.

Had a crazy busy week with orders and I worked around painters who were painting my kitchen,dining room,entry and more. It looks great, my house really needed an update. I made my first carved cake ( narwhal), birthday and retirement cake for a postal worker who is celebrating a few years late, a really cute Easter Bunny and not pictured cake pops for a young man’s birthday party.

I made a Mario Cart themed cake for my grandsons birthday. His 4 cousins ages 5-9 "helped" decorate. Kids are really good at forming fondant items. It must come from years of playing with play-dough.

I received a request for a pull-apart cupcake cake with the Seattle Kraken logo on it. My first thought was what is a Kraken!!! After doing a little research I found out it is a giant squid type sea monster .The Seattle Kracken begin playing in the NHL in 2021. The fans are called KrakHeads. I love to be creative and learn things along the way.

Big event in Pelican Rapids last Saturday. Our gym floor was dedicated to long time coach and teacher Rex Haugen. I had the honor of making all the cookies and a cake for the reception.

I took the month of January off from baking and enjoyed a little bit of "me" time. These are a couple photos from my Christmas offerings. Thanks to everyone who ordered!

I will be at The Barn at Dunvilla tomorrow. Lots of fun actives for kids and shopping for adults. I will have sweet treats, sourdough and cinnamon bread. Stop by my booth for a fun craft your kids can make.

I made a fun colorful cake for a budding artist . The paint palette and brush are all edible , made from marshmallow fondant.

I will have some fun deer hunting cookies and LEFSE at the Ladies Night Out to Shop Cormorant Village. I will also have all my other great treats and breads available.

Halloween is in a few days ,how about a tic- tac- toe pumpkin for that special person. You can play and eat! $3.00 each.

The Pelican Market is still on today. Ed with his wonderful apples will be in my stand. I am getting ready for tomorrows October Fest Vendor Show in Pelican Rapids. New Location this year- Pelican Rapids High-school gyms. Over 42 vendors are signed up WOW!!!

Market’s going today despite the weather ! Ed Anderson’s apple crop is in and tasting great. Stop on by.
