This week is a big week in our house!! It's the last week of school, graduation preparations, track sectionals, and my sister is in town for the week!! It is Austin's first road trip and hanging with us all week long!! Addy is getting a great surprise and I can't wait to see her reaction!! We are so excited for the upcoming events, but I know I have to get a game plan together for our meals this week!! I have already made my taco meat and spaghetti meat, so that's finished! But goodness - who knows what we will actually eat! What is on your agenda for the week?

We are starting the week off with lots of leftovers!! We celebrated Miss Addy's birthday, Mother's Day, and Ben's official appointment all in one weekend!! It was truly a wonderful weekend, and what's even better is we are starting off with leftovers!! So, just a little cooking for me this week! Addy's big birthday - officially a teenager - is Wednesday so more celebrating will continue!! What does YOUR week look like?

Every once in awhile I like to go through my freezer and refrigerator because I seem to gather a collection of food. So, then I use what we have to determine what we need to eat for that week. It also helps on my grocery bill because I only buy those small ingredients I need to make the meal. How many of you do that??? What's on your menu for this week?

Another new week and I have lots of homemade salsa from a bridal shower this week!! So, I am making a few items to help us eat that salsa and guac!! I might also add in some chicken fajitas as well!! We will see what sounds good. :) What is on your list this week??

This week it's back to school & I am trying to plan ahead a little. I decided I wanted to make a new recipe this week, along with some of our favorites. So, the Jambalaya is new and I can't wait to see what we think! The others are just staples that we haven't had for awhile. What's on your menu this week?

This week is a little different since we won't be home for dinner Monday & Tuesday. But, I am really excited about this recipe I found for braising a chuck roast on Thursday!! I can't wait to give it a try! I get tired of making the same type of roast, so I hope this one is good! We are also preparing for Easter lunch! We are having ham, mac & cheese, green beans, deviled eggs (thanks Mom!), pineapple lime jello, and some dessert Mom is making!! What do you typically have for Easter lunch?

So last week I once again didn't use everything on my menu! So, we are going to add them to our plans for this week!! How many of you look at the weather forecast to determine what you are making?? LOL! I have a tendency to do that more and more! Our meals also are determined by what activities we have going on. Track season starts on Wednesday, so a quick meal is on the menu for that day! Gymnastics on Thursday, so another quick meal in the making!! :) What about you? Show me YOUR menus and tell me what's on your calendar for this week!!

Pampered Chef has become so much more than a fun side gig...it has allowed Addy & I to bond in the kitchen, brought us so much laughter and joy (and some arguing - I will admit), but it’s also brought us new friendships!! We got to meet sweet Lavender - that we won’t be bringing home - and Kim Hart! To merge two worlds because of a Pampered Chef party is pure delight and the gift of friendship! Thank you for letting us snuggle with your precious pups and see Mr. Cooper! (We left all of the puppies at home! We were given strict instructions! 😂 BUT - whoever does take them home will be completely BLESSED!)

Last night I really wasn’t in the mood to cook...life was hard yesterday. Pampered Chef and Guaranteed Foods came in for the win! We had an appetizer night!

Tried something new tonight - Stromboli!! It was SO easy!! However, I used the wrong kind of bread, so took a bit longer! Next time, use refrigerated pizza dough! It was still yummy & super easy!!
