The BCFCU turns 40 this year! From a card table in 1979 to our office on Elmwood Avenue in 2014, we're still here helping our members meet their financial goals, and reinvesting in Buffalo. We wouldn't be here without our members. What keeps you coming back to the BCFCU? (Let us know in the comments below.)
ATTN: Our precious community!
We've created a new page, so PLEASE come over and like that one--the link is below. And of course, please share the new page with others...
Why have a new page? Long story, but suffice it to say that we are entering a new era of community outreach and engagement here, and the change was necessary for what we're looking to accomplish.
Sorry about any confusion or inconvenience, we're trying to do this in the best way possible.
So again, please like our new page, share it with others, and if you have a quick moment please also leave us a review (even if you already had).
Thank you!!!

Buffalo, NY - The National Credit Union Administration approves Capital Plan for Buffalo Cooperative Federal Credit Union; securing reserve funds from Embassy Capital Group, LLC
The Buffalo Cooperative Federal Credit Union (âBCFCUâ), a certified community development financial institution (âCDFIâ), successfully secured secondary capital funds from Embassy Capital Group, LLC (âECGâ) with the support of the National Credit Union Administration (âNCUAâ). In a correspondence dated November 30, 2018, NCUA authorized BCFCUâs capital plan, which included the investment from ECG. âEmbassy Capital supports the Co-op Credit Union,â said Franklin Redd, President of ECG, âby providing capital and strategic advisory services; establishing a model linking global financial markets to community investment opportunities, we can re-direct the economic resources of Wall Street to Main Street through credit unions.â Daniel Webster, BCFCU Board President stated, âBCFCU is enthusiastic about the opportunity to work with ECG. The capital provided enhances BCFCUâs ability to re-invest our members money into the community to impact the neighborhoods and households that need it the most.â
