Judy of Bixby – born 3rd in this litter; she has definitely carved in her nitch with her siblings. She is curious and will try new things; usually after she observes someone else try first! She likes to cuddle but only so much – she decides!
Wilma of Bixby – our big girl, the oldest of the litter. She has a commanding presence and makes herself known. Muscular, pretty physical in an assertive way, not aggressive. A great eater who finds the pole position to nurse and now feed. Calm and definitely a leader.
Jane of Bixby – Jane is sweet, no other word. Very patient, non-aggressive. Does not charge into food or new situations. If siblings are first in line she will wait nearby and allow others to finish. Tender snuggler, very intelligent. Born middle of the pack #6 – maybe the future peacemaker!
Betty of Bixby – slightly smaller stature than her female siblings. Betty tends to buddy up with Ragnar and Elroy to tussle and play. She’s very observant and smart. A little feisty and can be vocal. She just seems content with whoever is handling her and content to interact with siblings. She has beautiful markings and facially looks like her daddy, our Jethro.
Elroy of Bixby – disclosure- Elroy has wormed his way into my heart…he is usually first. First to greet me, first to beg with those eyes to be picked up, first to attempt a new toy, first to lead the puppy parade. He doesn’t mind being held and plants puppy kisses on my chin. Very much wants human interaction. He’s active, usually the last to fall asleep and first to wake.
Ragnar the Runt of Bixby – Being the runt, he has been challenged by nearly all of his siblings for food and attention. It doesn’t seem to affect him; he just keeps going. He’s somewhat of an alone pup; he has sought out quiet spaces to rest away from the pack. Very, very curious and smart. He pals up with siblings Betty and Elroy to play. He has a Marilyn Monroe birthmark near his nose.
Barney of Bixby – definitely a champion snuggler; he craves human interaction and becomes vocal when he hasn’t had enough of people and snuggles. Calms down with just a soft voice or touch. Playful and happy; a good eater. He’s a solid dog. Buddies with Fred just like their cartoon namesakes. (Flintstones)
Fred of Bixby – he’s just there; always. Ready for adventure, ready to just sit on your lap. Content, calm, quiet – just there. He did try the dry dog food “thinking” pad and really enjoyed it. Physically bigger than Barney his buddy. Never a challenge or cross tone. He has made up weight and stature closing in on Wilma our largest pup.
George of Bixby – this guy is adorable. Joking, he is as wide as he is long. Kinda square build and stocky legs. Reminds me of George on Seinfeld! We can pick him out right away. Kinda lumbers when he walks. Very cute. Quiet, steady, calm. I think the calmest of the bunch. Interacts with siblings well. Loves people. Dependable.
