Over the weekend some of our team spent an evening at a driving range! Thanks for fun Saturday evening!
We treat our patients like our own. Our veterinary assistant, Dani cuddling a puppy patient to comfort him. š¤
Some of our team is into the holiday spirit!

>>It is Practice Managerās Appreciation Week
We celebrate our teamās success! Our veterinary assistant, Dani performed her first cystocentesis!
Thatās when we collect a sterile urine sample, but using an ultrasound to guide us.
Our team encourages training all team members on new skills.
This year our Hospital Manager and Medical Director committed to making training for our team a priority. They created training schedules, worked more hours, rescheduled their regular duties, and put growing the team to be ready to care for their patients with the gold standard of care at the forefront of this years goals. This wasnāt an easy task, but with their teamwork and eager team we are making such great strides!
We canāt wait to see where our team goes from here!
Special shoutout to our leads and senior assistants who are carrying out the training schedules and making time to fill up the cups of knowledge of our new team members! You are all appreciated!
Things are getting spooky at Alpine.
We believe in providing our patients with the best care possible.
Cheyenne, our veterinary assistant, is providing her feline patient with comfort by holding her away from the treatment floor, in her own carrier, while typing up her medical notes.
First class care. āŗļø
Every team member in our hospital plays an important role to help our hospital run smoothly.
Our team is prepping in many ways to ensure we are ready for an emergency. Thanks to for this awesome CPR medical dosage wheel!
One of our veterinary assistants, Michelle is backpacking, Blackie while his mom (Jess, our hospital manager) is in a meeting.
Our team thrives on providing patient handling that doesnāt stress out our patients. For some of our feline patients, scruffing them and being able to see everything around them is extremely stressful.
Our veterinary assistants Michelle and Dani are drawing a blood sample from the medial saphenous vein of one of our feline patients. Youāll notice Michelle is using a towel to keep our patient covered and hidden from the chaos of the treatment floor.
Our team hopes to become a Fear Free Certified hospital soon!

LOST CAT ALERT!
Employee Pet Spotlight:
Baby, is our hospital manager Jessās 16 year old baby. Hereās what Jess has to say about Baby:
āBaby was my first cat. Ever. Sheās actually the reason I decided to choose veterinary medicine as my career. I rescued her from a friend, who couldnāt keep her. I had no idea what to do for a 5 week old kitten, let alone like cats! But something about her and needing to care for her lit up that veterinary medicine light in me. It hasnāt turned off since.
Sheās feisty. Sheās independent. Sheās my first born. She really is my Baby. šā
Stay tuned for more of our teams pets!

Now, some people think that their dogās p**p is helping the environment so they leave it. However, this is false: your dogās waste is actually a huge problem when left.
Dogsā p**p is not a ānatural fertilizerā but a stinky nuisance that can spread serious diseases. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, dog p**p can spread up to 65 diseases that can passed to humans and other animals.Ā
Rain washes dog waste and the associated disease-causing organisms, such as giardia and salmonella, into rivers, beaches and bays via storm drains. Enough bacteria make water unsafe for drinking and swimming.
Please be responsible and scoop the p**p!
