Claudia Goodman- Animal Communicator and Energy Healer
My mission is to inspire a greater level of compassion by helping people connect with and understand
When people ask me why animal communication or what it can do…this, right here, is why I do what I do!
I help people and their animals improve their lives and their relationships by simply listening to the animal and sharing it with their person.
I love this work and I feel blessed to be of service to animals and their people.
I am so excited!!!!
After many years and hard work, a dream of mine has come true.
I was invited to be on the Board of Directors for The Gentle Barn Foundation.
I have known Ellie, the founder, for 16 years and always admired her and wanted to be a part of The Gentle Barn Foundation and its mission. Well, on Monday, after an interview with the rest of the board, I was voted in.
I KNOW that this would not have been possible had it not been for what I have learned on my path as an animal communicator and as the Head of Outreach for Communication with All Life University.
This work made it happen.

I have been asked how animal medical intuition helps my practice. When I have a client book an animal communication session, I ALWAYS do a medical intuition scan, even if all we are looking at is a behavior.
The reason I do this is because if an animal is not feeling like themselves, that can contribute to behavioral and emotional issues.
I do not diagnose, but I can tune in to see what the animal is feeling. With that information, I am able to give my client a clearer picture of what might be going on with their animal and they can, then, seek the appropriate care.
Animals are really good at masking pain.
Animal medical intuition is key, given how much they can mask pain or discomfort. It can help you get a wholistic perspective of your animal’s behavior.
This has happened to me, with my dog. She was acting a little more rambunctious/reactive than normal and she was acting “stubborn”. I had one of the classes in the school connect with her. When they did the animal medical intuition, everyone got a sense of tension, soreness and stiffness in her jaw and neck.
I had her treated with acupuncture, cold laser and acupressure and she, immediately, got more relaxed and her demeanor became softer. She is still stubborn, but that is part of who she is. Now, I know that she holds tension in her neck and jaw and I continue to use acupressure to help her.
Knowing what your animal is feeling, physically and emotionally, is so important to help ensure their well-being.
This past weekend, I attended a 3 day Animal Medical Intuition workshop taught by my mentor, Joan Ranquet. I am still processing everything that happened for me throughout the weekend.
On a professional level, my skill improved and my readings are becoming more specific and clear. I learned to feel into gaits, to see whether the issue is old, chronic or acute. I was able to tune into what things mean to me based on how I feel or see them. THIS WAS POWERFUL!
On a personal level, I reconnected with my animal people tribe on a much deeper level and got recharged.
The other thing that happened is that I realized I LOVE having my hands on animals and helping them through bodywork.
All of this strengthened my determination and motivated me to continue to learn as much as I can so I can help animals as much as I can.
Thank you, Joan, for the invaluable lessons.
There was a time in my life when I hated EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). It took learning to do it with animals for me to see how amazing and truly powerful it is. I have been studying, practicing and teaching EFT for animals for years, now.
Now, I can share this with everyone. I have been waiting for months for this to finally hit bookstores! Joan wrote the book of books on EFT for animals and it is life changing! I feel every rescue, shelter and anyone who has animals should have this as one of their tools to help with their animals!

Explore Telepathic Communication With Your Animals Imagine how wonderful it would be if you could decipher their thoughts and emotions — and anticipate their needs and desires. Even more remarkably, if they could understand yours.
Oh, how I love this pup!
“The essential joy of being with horses is that it brings us in contact with the rare elements of grace, beauty, spirit, and freedom.”Sharon Ralls Lemon
A few weeks ago, I had the honor and privilege to be asked to come to a barn and connect with 10 horses.
I had never connected with that many animals, back to back. I didn’t know what to expect. All I knew was to stay in the intention of the highest good for them and their people.
It was pure magic; that is the best way I can describe how I felt while I was there and still today.
Shadow, the sensitive mischief; Nitro, the big protective boss who is a momma’s boy at heart; Leo, the new guy who finally feels seen and part of a family; Olaf, the cat lover who is, begrudgingly, opening his heart to Leo; Daisy, a smart, tough and resilient mini-pony who is blossoming in her new home with her big brother, Bear; Star a beautiful, loyal and loving soul horse to her person; Goody, the comedian who is dedicated to making his person smile; Bailey, the happily retired gelding who feels proud of the girl he helped raise; and Indigo, the graceful ballerina who is on a mission to be a healer.
I walked away from the barn feeling so blessed to have been trusted by these amazing beings, and feeling so fulfilled that I was able to offer insight that could help their people understand them better.
There are moments in life where you realize you are doing exactly what you are meant to be doing.
Just now, I had one of those moments.
I had a session with a couple who asked me to connect with their dog that crossed the rainbow bridge 6 months ago.
Thanks to my training, I have learned not question what I get, to just write it down and speak it.
Today, I did just that and in doing so, I answered a question they wanted to ask before they asked it. I got who she was and what her favorite things were about her life. There were tears and laughter all around.
My realization was not that I was able to do that, but that I was able to help this couple find some peace in the grief around the loss of their beloved dog.
It is these moments that remind me of why I do what I do.
I am so grateful I found this path.
The reason I vacuum the couch(and everything else) everyday.
Yup, this was my house this morning. Anyone else?
Happy Gotcha Day to our beautiful Lakshmi! 8 years ago, I received a call from a friend with a “kitten emergency”. Her sister had found a tiny kitten in the wheel well of her car and, having no experience with cats, they reached out to me. I was supposed to have her for 24- 48 hours, while we looked for a foster or forever home. One look at her and Jeff and I knew she was not going anywhere. She is sweet and sassy and the BEST cuddle kitty. We love our Shmee!

One year ago, today, we met and fell in love with our big goofball, Bella (aka Belly, aka Moosie-Moose). Happy Gotcha Day Belly! We love you!
This barn and its inhabitants are my refuge. It is a magical place. I am so grateful I get to be a part of this and help these amazing beings by doing what I love to do.
After volunteering at the horse rescue, this morning, Jeff and I headed to meet some rescued bobcats. This is Blade. He was loving the smell of the horses on my boots- rubbing on them and purring like crazy! What an amazing experience to be this close and personal with them! Thank you Felicia Serpico for allowing us to visit your cat pride!
I didn’t “become vegan” as much as I removed the blocks to the compassion that had always been inside of me.

Once upon a time, there was a little girl obsessed with horses. As she grew up, went to school, worked, got married and had a family, that obsession got very quiet. Until one day, she met 2 mares, Gabrielle and Anya, and a tall dark and handsome gelding named Drakkar who reminded her how much she loved these amazing beings. She moved away from them and realized how much she missed their energy in her life. That little girl was me. That horse obsession that laid dormant for so long has come back, full force. I asked the universe to bring horses back into my daily life and, as usual, the universe did not disappoint. A few weeks ago, I came across a horse rescue/riding academy and I decided to become a volunteer. It’s something my son and I do together. We groom, feed, clean paddocks and love on them. I, also, got the go ahead to communicate with them and do healing work on them. It has been amazing and I am so grateful I was entrusted with such sacred souls. The horses love the work almost as much as I do. For me, there is no better healing energy than being around horses. Today was one of those days. This is my new happy place on Sunday mornings.

In 2007, I met Ellie and Jay at a parenting workshop. I had no idea I was sitting next to the couple who had been all over the news that same week, rescuing animals from a horrible hoarding situation. When I found out they were The Gentle Barn I turned into the biggest fan girl/ dork. Thankfully, they looked past that dorkiness and invited me to come to the barn.
Up until then, I had gone back and forth between being a vegetarian and omnivore. At that time, I was eating meat and wearing leather. I had this leather purse that was one of my favorite pieces, ever.
Setting foot on Gentle Barn soil was magical. The energy there is beyond words and the way it makes you feel is blissful (not kidding).
Anyway, at the barn, Ellie introduced me to Buddha, the cow, and Big Bird, the turkey (among all the other animals). Buddha hugged me and Big Bird was the first living turkey I ever met, up close and personal.
It was a wonderful day and Ellie and Jay could not have been more gracious. Not once did they comment on my wearing leather or my eating meat, they just introduced me to the animals and shared their stories.
The following day, I sat down to have lunch, a turkey sandwich, and I couldn’t do it. That was the end of my meat eating and leather wearing. I gave away all the leather I owned and became a vegetarian.
In 2011, after fully realizing the truth behind the dairy and egg industry, I became a vegan.
I will, forever, be grateful to Ellie and Jay for not judging me or guilting me. I have taken on the same philosophy; I do not judge anyone for their choices, I, simply, live my life and if they ask, I share MY experience. It is their choice where they go from there.
The Gentle Barn has been a huge part of my life. I would not have met my mentor and friend, Joan Ranquet, had it not been for Ellie. I would not have found my tribe and followed my passion and life’s calling had it not been for Ellie, Jay, Joan Ranquet and The Gentle Barn and CWALU (Communication with All Life University).
I am, now, helping animals and their people by being an animal communicator and energy healer. I am surrounded by the most amazing and loving tribe. I, finally, figured out what I wanted to do when I grew up!
Thank you, Buddha and Big Bird. You’re legacy will always live on. ❤️🙏🏼
Pondering life.
After spending the last 9 days teaching in an animal communication and energy healing intensive, I am enjoying a family day in the pool as these 3 watch from a “safe” distance. ☀️
Happy National Dog Day!
Feliz día Nacional del Perro!
So excited to announce CWALU Talk to the Animals in French, Spanish and Hebrew! Here is the Spanish class:
No matter what, telepathy is universal. It is a language for all life. So, it is so exciting to announce Communication with all Life University (CWALU) is offering our International animal communication classes starting September 9th in Spanish, French and Hebrew. Don’t worry, I’m not teaching any of it!! I have very talented teachers.
Claudia Goodman, who many see as my right-hand person in the FB Lives, is originally from Colombia. She will be teaching the Spanish class in her native tongue. She feels it is important to ride that first wave of animal communication to bring awareness to people. By helping people that are already in her camp (animal lovers) she will help them create a better world for animals in South America. She has been teaching Animal Communication for CWALU for the last year.
