A strong brew for the beginning of autumn. We would like to introduce our latest autumnal herbal/caffeine-free for the season, Greek Mountain 🍁

Greek Mountain tea has long been harvested on the slopes of Mount Olympus. Also known as sideritis or ironwort, it was given those names in the belief that tea brewed from these flowers and leaves could heal wounds caused by iron weapons.

The floral, herbaceous aroma of this tea veils a mint-like flavor, that cleanses and refreshes.

Greek Mountain tea has traditionally been thought to benefit respiration and digestive health.  Recent studies suggest the plant has similar anti-oxidant and stress relieving / anti-anxiety effects to camellia sinensis (the tea plant), while being naturally caffeine-free.

Our limited run stoneware and porcelain tea cups are now available in the shop for purchase. In collaboration with Josephine Zhu of .ceramics these functional but uniquely designed pieces blend art and design transforming each piece into a gorgeous statement.

Each piece is handmade and crafted by Josephine paying homage to her AAPI roots inspiring others to do the same. These gorgeous pieces though subtle add a rich dimension to any tea collection.

The fall equinox is drawing near and as we prepare to launch our seasonal menu this weekend, we wanted to highlight the new additions that became favorites this summer! 🌸

Pear Mountain: A creamy and floral high mountain oolong that became available for our Gong Fu service.

Aloha Gold: This honeyed Black tea was grown at the base of an active volcano in Hawaii.

Chrysanthemum: Summer in a cup, the bright and calming floral herbal tea boasts a cooling effect.

Moonchild: Full of bodied and deeply loved, this ripe pu-erh tea balances chrysanthemum flowers and purple tea leaves for a fine taste.

Water Fairy: Existing already in our hot brew we welcomed the refreshing and light Water Fairy to our cold brew selections instantly becoming a staff favorite!

We are so excited to announce our collab with Josephine Zhu of Zhuology Ceramics for a limited line of teacups inspired by Callisto 💚🌿

Josephine Zhu is a ceramics artist based in LA. From ramen bowls to donut vases, Josephine’s creations transform household shapes into conversational works of art that are equally functional as they are unique.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Josephine pays homage to her Chinese-American heritage through pottery, utilizing patterns and shapes that evoke East Asian influences. Through her art, she hopes to inspire those who wish to celebrate their own AAPI roots, as well as those who seek ways to incorporate subtle beauty into their own everyday surroundings.

This line of porcelain and stoneware tea cups is commissioned by Callisto Tea House. Each piece is hand made by Josephine and each is uniquely its own. Let these gorgeous pieces elevate your tea experience to another level.

A gift from Pele for the Summer 🌞 Aloha Gold is a black tea with a rich amber hue that has the right amount of sweetness.

Grown at the base of an active volcano on the island of Hawaii, the character of this tea varies with the seasons. As one of our summer highlights we enjoy it's honeyed taste.

The buds of Pear Mountain, our Summer Gong Fu highlight ✨ This high mountain oolong brews up surprisingly cyan, with the magical sparkle common to Taiwan teas.
Grown on Li Shan, literally "pear mountain", this tea offers gentle fruit notes underlying its floral character, and the signature creamy texture of high mountain oolongs 💚🌿
