Gorgeous panels on the top of our new classroom. These panels are cut from larger appliances & the hoods/roofs of cars (see the school bus yellow tone?) ♻️ What a great way to reuse materials that otherwise would have been spent rusting away in a junkyard. Before installing solar, we paid an average of $1,200 a month for our main building’s electricity.
Now? We saved an average of $600 every month in the last year, and saw a monthly utility bill approximately 55% lower than it was in the last two years.
In total, we shaved close to $7,000 off last year’s utility bill, just by going solar. https://loom.ly/vHmYzq8

Michael Reynolds & Cancer: 📍
If we found a cure for cancer, it would be a crushing blow to the pharmaceuticals and the cancer “industry” in terms of the economy.
If we put forth alternative energies and began using them, it would be a crushing blow to the various energy industries like coal and nuclear in terms of the economy.
If we really made people aware of the total health that is available through whole food plant-based diets, the meat and dairy industries would greatly suffer and seriously affect the economy.
The bottom line is our economy cannot afford to let us be healthy and have a healthy planet.
Just what is this thing we call economy?
Just what is this beast… that we place its well-being above that of ourselves, our planet and our children.
