Beta Rho Omega Chapter “Soared to Greater Heights”, with the help of the community and its members. PowerPacks were assembled to combat Childhood Hunger in Christian County! We packaged over 90 bags to deliver to MLK and Freedom Elementary Schools.

It’s a simple fact: A child’s chance for a bright tomorrow starts with getting enough food to eat today. In the United States, 9 million children may not know where to get their next meal.

Beta Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Chapter is looking for YOUR YOUTH ,ages 11-13 , to participate in a 9 month long Youth Leadership Institute(YLI) in Hopkinsville!

YLI is a youth-led and highly interactive leadership development program , designed to empower and engage youth. The program will promote healthy independence and personal empowerment in our youth. The monthly meetings are youth-led , with opportunities for youth to make decisions, plan activities, and share roles and responsibilities. All meetings will be supervised by AKA Youth Leadership Institute Adult Leaders.

Monthly Meetings: 3rd & 4th Tuesday of each month

Time:​ ​4:00pm – 5:00pm

Location: ​Boys & Girls Club of Hopkinsville-Christian County

Mental Health Awareness Matters! Today members of Beta Rho Omega Chapter hosted a successful Mental Health Awareness Conference to Uplift the Community! Guest Presenters Dr. Georgia Ellis, Sabrina Bell. Shelia Rhodes and Randa Ramsey did a magnificent job sharing expert information centered around mental awareness!

To the Uplifting Our Local Community Initiative Committee and all chapter members, you are to be commended for your vision and hard work! Ex*****on was seamless! God was definitely in the mix! His handiwork was crafted with exemplary craftsmanship!

To the Community Health Care Providers , Mountain Comprehensive, Western State Hospital, Sanctuary, Mother’s Den. Pennyroyal Center. Alzheimer’s Association, Centerstone, Norton’s Faith and Health Ministries and Pennyrile Agency on Aging thanks for serving as integral role as a community resource agency!
