Welcome to the Sunday morning church service at Humble Beginnings Church at 8:00 a.m. We are so glad to see you. We pray that today's message, "Pole Position," blesses you as it has blessed us.
"Laziness: It's Time to Get Up." Whatever we do, let us not allow laziness of any kind to undermine and erode our time, goals, purposes, dreams and responsibilities. As we saw the responses to the poll on this past Sunday, laziness can cost us mightily. We are standing on the shoulders of our parents and ancestors. They worked hard and we should too. God has blessed the work of our hands. Read Deut. 2:1-7. Listen to past sermons at: https://www.facebook.com/hbczachary/videos and https://hbczachary.online.church

Welcome to the Sunday morning church service at Humble Beginnings Church at 8:00 a.m. We are so glad to see you. Today is the conclusion of our Summer Series on Behaviors. The topic, "Laziness: It's Time to Get Up," compelled us to let go of all forms of laziness in our lives. Laziness is costing us big time in productivity, blessings, promotion, relationships and more. God has blessed the works of our hands. Let's not meddle with laziness at all. We pray this message blesses you as it has blessed us.
We are so excited for baptism at HBC on tomorrow, Sunday, August 18, 2024 immediately following church service. Thank you Father for the souls who are giving their lives back to you.
We hold baptisms out of obedience to God as it is written in the Word of God.— Matthew 28:19-20 King James Version (KJV) - Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
We will all give an account of ourselves to God. Let's fast and pray today about our own hearts and mouths before the Lord. In this past Sunday's message, "Profanity: Watch Your Mouth," we were challenged to check how we talk and communicate with others. So today, let's check ourselves. If foul, mean, profane, obscene, demeaning, nagging, gossiping and sarcastic words are coming out of our mouths, then there are deeper issues in our hearts. Read Ephesians 4:29.
Bible Gateway passage: Ephesians 4:29 - New Living Translation Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.
The goal of the enemy is to have us doubt the Word of God and twist it up to fit our lives. God is holy and He expects holiness from us. Perversion likes to hide itself, makes one arrogant to believe nothing is wrong with it and makes one stubborn to stay in it. This does not come from God Almighty. The father of perversion is Satan and we are not to fall prey. It’s “Perversion: Don’t Get It Twisted.” Read Romans 1:18 (KJV), pray, stand on the Word and obey God. Submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you. Listen here: https://hbczachary.online.church

Welcome to the Sunday morning church service at Humble Beginnings Church at 8:00 a.m. We are so glad to see you. God is continuing to speak to us as His people. HBC is continuing in the Summer Series on Behaviors. Today's message was "Beware of Perversion: Don't Get It Twisted." God wants us to know that the enemy wants to distort God's truth and also deceive us. Perversion is all around us and we as believers of Jesus Christ must stand on and obey the Word of God. Just like the devil did Eve, he wants us to doubt God. Let's take a stand on the Word of God and beware of all perversion in Jesus' name. Amen.
When was the last time we corrected ourselves for being late and did the work to correct that behavior? Maybe we are not habitually late for church, work or school, but we are late in our response to what God is leading us to do in studying the Word, giving, praying or in good deeds. In the sermon "Lateness," our God is challenging us to respect the time that He gives to us. Listen to the sermon here: https://www.facebook.com/hbczachary/videos/807572854904097/ and read Ephesians 5:15-16 (NIV) and let's be wise with the time that God has given.

Bible Gateway passage: Ephesians 5:15-16 - King James Version See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Welcome to the Sunday morning church service at Humble Beginnings Church at 8:00 a.m. We are so glad to see you. We are continuing our Summer Series on Behaviors. Today's message titled, "Lateness," challenged us to address our lateness in all things. A continual behavior of lateness does not honor God and sadly most of us do not even feel convicted when we are late. Whether it's being late to church, work, school or in paying your bills and turning in assignments, the spirit of lateness can cost us blessings, promotions, good evaluations, good grades, etc. We pray this message sharpens you as it has sharpened us. Have a blessed day.
We tend to desire, thirst after, crave and pursue things and people that are contrary to what God wants for us. In the message, "The Thirst-Buster: Getting Rid of Insatiable Behavior," we were challenged to examine the things and people that we are pursuing. A dry mouth in the natural indicates that we need water. A dry and thirsty soul indicates that we need to drink from the "Living Water of Jesus Christ" and we will never thirst again. Read John 4:1-15 (NLT) and ask God in the name of Jesus to give you the living water. After drinking the living water, your life will be changed forever.
Bible Gateway passage: John 4:1-15 - New Living Translation Jesus and the Samaritan Woman - Jesus knew the Pharisees had heard that he was baptizing and making more disciples than John (though Jesus himself didn’t baptize them—his disciples did). So he left Judea and returned to Galilee. He had to go through Samaria on the way. Eventually he came to the ...
Welcome to the Sunday morning church service at Humble Beginnings Church at 8:00 a.m. We are so glad to see you. Our HBC Family is going through a Summer Series titled, "Behaviors." We have dealt with the behaviors of gullibility and unforgiveness. Today, we learned about being insatiable. Not being able to be satisfied is nothing but greed. Having an insatiable behavior will impact all of us negatively. We pray this message, "The Thirst-Buster: Getting Rid of Insatiable Behavior," blesses you as it has blessed us.
Unforgiveness in the heart will show signs like separation, avoidance, the silent treatment, the side-eye, discord, gossip, anger and the like. There are solutions to “Unforgiveness: Let It Go” and choose to forgive. God has given us His Word, strength, power and mercy to forgive. Unforgiveness in one’s spirit is like cancer in the human body. If it is not addressed, it can spread, worsen and then ultimately steal, kill and destroy us. Read Matthew 18:21-25 (NLT).
Bible Gateway passage: Matthew 18:21-25 - New Living Translation Parable of the Unforgiving Debtor - Then Peter came to him and asked, “Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?” “No, not seven times,” Jesus replied, “but seventy times seven! “Therefore, the Kingdom of Heaven can be compared to a king who decided to br...
Welcome to the Sunday morning church service at Humble Beginnings Church at 8:00 a.m. We are so glad to see you. We are continuing the Behavior Series at HBC. This Sunday's message, "Unforgiveness: Let It Go," helped us to further understand why holding onto unforgiveness is a detriment to our relationship with the Most High God and is a hinderance to our abundant life. Unforgiveness will hinder us. We must let it go.
This week's "Summer Series on Behaviors" focused on "Gullible Behavior: Lord Help Me to Not be Fooled." When God made us, He created us to be like Him in His image. The all-knowing God can never be fooled. Let's continue to ask God to open our eyes so that we can see the areas where we have been and may remain gullible. God will show us if we ask Him. If any person tries to entice us to sin, our response to them should always be no. Read Proverbs 7:1-7 (AMP). Join us this upcoming Sunday as God digs deeper into our behaviors.
Bible Gateway passage: Proverbs 7:1-7 - Amplified Bible The Wiles of the Pr******te - My son, keep my words And treasure my commandments within you [so they are readily available to guide you]. Keep my commandments and live, And keep my teaching and law as the apple of your eye. Bind them [securely] on your fingers; Write them on the tablet of your heart...

Today's sermon addressed the behavior of being gullible. The message, "Gullible Behavior: Lord, Help Me to Not Be Fooled," encouraged every listener to discern everything. Deception is real and so many people are being used, taken advantage of and being played. We all need the wisdom of the Lord God Almighty to combat gullibility.

Today's message, "That's Me Lord," was the introduction challenging us to do an introspective look at our own personal behaviors. Our ways and behaviors affect our relationship with God and others. Happy Blessed Juneteenth. Let us celebrate and thank the Almighty God for the freedom that was given to us by Him. The enactment of the Emancipation Proclamation was the result of the countless prayers of enslaved and free African Americans and those who stood with them. All African Americans were freed, but many did not know they were free until June 19, 1865. To learn more visit: https://nmaahc.si.edu/explore/stories/historical-legacy-juneteenth. Read John 8:36.

Welcome to the Sunday morning church service at Humble Beginnings Church at 8:00 a.m. We are so glad to see you. Today's messaged titled, "Called to Cover," was a clarion call to fathers to provide guidance, provision and protection for their children and their households. We say thank you to all the fathers who are on their posts and doing what God has called them to do for their children. We pray this message blesses you as it has blessed us in Jesus' name.
It is easy to get stuck in this life on the same things, people, routines, company we keep, way of life and our thinking. God's tender mercies are new every morning. He is capable of always springing forth new things. Let us take an inventory today of our lives, the things we associate with, the people in our circle, the way we do things and how we are living, believing and speaking. Let's ask God to help us to "Keep It Moving" and to be mindful of where we are walking, standing and sitting in Jesus' name. Amen. Read Psalm 1:1-6.

Welcome to the Sunday morning church service at Humble Beginnings Church at 8:00 a.m. We are so glad to see you. Today's message titled, "Keep It Moving," encouraged each of us to watch the company that we keep. We as God's people, who are believers of Jesus Christ, must not walk in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stand in the way of sinners nor sit in the seat of the scornful. We hope this message blesses you as it has blessed us.
Let us choose to not be afraid, nervous or anxious about anything we walk through in this life. As believers of Jesus Christ and children of the Most High God, we have direct access to God's wisdom, power, strength, favor, blessings, insights, protections, instructions and provisions through our relationship with Him and in prayer. Profess this: "There's Power in Prayer." Do you believe that? If so, pray about everything and trust God. Read 2 Kings 20:1-11.

Welcome to the Sunday morning church service at Humble Beginnings Church at 8:00 a.m. We are so glad to see you. Today's sermon was titled, "There's Power in Prayer!" The prayer group in almost every church is the smallest group in the church. This really needs to change, saints. The word of God says, men ought always pray. This message gave key points as to why we, as God's people, should be standing strong in prayer. We pray this message blesses you.
Let us "Love One Another." God is adamant about love. He expects us to love Him with all thy heart, mind and soul. God expects us to love thy neighbor as thyself. We cannot compromise on love. God showed us and is still sharing His love. He gave His only Son, Jesus, to die for all our sins. Let's "Love One Another" instead of hating, criticizing, talking about people behind their backs, being unforgiving or keeping tabs of wrong. Read Philippians 2:1-8 (NLT). Let's love God's way.
Bible Gateway passage: Philippians 2:1-8 - New Living Translation Have the Attitude of Christ - Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together...
