Happy New Year!
Last Sunday, our preacher challenged us to get a 14” legal size note pad and start listing all of our blessings from 2019. We would fill that pad with the names of all of the people who have been a blessing in our lives this past year. Gracie’s life is our number 1 blessing! Now, how do we thank you all? You have turned the most horrible and terrifying accident into a livable and bearable crisis through your prayers, work, and gifts. We have experienced the truest, most genuine love that words cannot describe. The only way to communicate the power of the Lord’s presence is to tell you about an incident that happened at UTSW Zale Lipshy Hospital in Dallas. Because Gracie was a fall risk, we stayed with her all day and the hospital assigned a night shift aide. When we arrived early the next morning, the aide literally jumped out of her chair and started rambling about the Spirit in the room. She said that Gracie asked her to pray with her several times, and that God’s Spirit was so strong that she could feel it. She quickly gathered her things and said that she had to get to church (it happened to be a Sunday morning). She said that she hadn’t been getting to church regularly and she had to leave to get there on time so that she could get things right with God. This was the most profound recollection, but nearly every person in the room had reported similar feelings. So thank you seems like such a weak expression of our gratitude, but we can’t find words to express this feeling that is so rare and deep within our hearts. You have made the Lord’s deeds known to many people. Please know that Gracie, Wade, Ace, and I regularly thank the Lord for you and ask Him to Bless you as we have been blessed. Again, we just say, “thank you, thank you, thank you all”!!! May our awesome Lord bless your New Year.
GRADUATED!!!!
Haven’t done a post in a while but Jean Bean continues her recovery in Lubbock at TLC and is doing well! Every day she conquers something new! She is jogging with no assistance, and her speech is clearer and clearer each day, while her memory progresses each day. Meeting with the eye specialist has her encouraged as he assured them it can take months for her eye to recover, and that she is not behind the ball in that area. Continued prayers, cards and visits are appreciated. Thank you all so very much for all of your support for our girl!

Things are scary, but praise Him and thank Him that He is in control!!! I just want to “hug your neck” Gracie Jean!!!
Thank you isn’t enough in this situation. But, THANK YOU to everyone who roped, donated time, $, energy, auction items, food, cattle, and love to make the benefit a HUGE success.
Incentive buckle winners, father and son duo, Chris and Haize Price.
Average winners: 4th place—saddle blankets Betty and Madelyn. 3rd place— breast collars Roy Montoya and Clint Spiva. 2nd place—buckles Roy Montoya and Isaac Montoya. Champions—saddles Steve Elliott and Cody Spiva.
Wanna look for the blessings in a crisis? Let’s see:
The day Gracie was injured, this benefit was decided upon (instigated by Roy Montoya) . As well as the raffle (instigated by Annie McCauley). Then a silent and live auction (instigated by Rodney White). Then as the ball started rolling WE HAVENT HAD TO ASK FOR ONE DANG THING!! People called and offered help, items, computers, software, concessions, you name it. All when they heard. Not one person had to be asked. It’s an amazing show of God’s love through others. You think there is only evil in the world? I disagree. In a BIG WAY. The benefit roping, concessions, silent auction, live auction and donations today racked up close to $40,000 for our girl Gracie Jean! God bless you all.
