Lectures to Blow Your Mind with Dr. Alan Fox: The Dead Sea Scrolls Part 1 - Introduction Award-winning professor of Asian and Comparative Philosophy Dr. Alan Fox speaks about what the Dead Sea Scrolls are and how they were discovered in part one ...
We have refrained from posting updates about the lecture series this week, because we don’t want to distract from the events taking place which have brought into sharp and inescapable focus how our black communities have suffered from the systemic racism and police brutality in our society. I hope we can use this time of unrest as an opportunity for the type of reflection and self-analysis that leads to real, sustainable change. Yes, all lives SHOULD matter, but not all lives are victimized on a daily basis, and we don’t need to be reminded of their worth. The reason why we need to emphasize that black lives matter is that they HAVE been victimized in that way, and it has to change.
So let’s focus on what is most important right now, and stand for true equality by fighting for truth, justice, and a NEW American way.
Dear friends,
I am presenting the third in a three-part series of lectures on YouTube live, as a benefit for the Food Bank of Delaware.
