KC Gopher is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are inspired and motivated to work smart, work safely and work in a team environment. As a delivery driver, you will be the face of our company. It will be your job to consistently exceed customer expectations by making sure all orders are delivered with a smile, on time, safely, and to the right location. Currently, we are looking to fill full-time driving positions in Lenexa, KS.

Delivery Driver Associate Responsibilities:
• Load vans and deliver packages by driving, climbing in and out of the vehicle, and walking upstairs and through driveways in all weather conditions, and deliver packages safely and punctually
• You can expect to work about 2-5 days per week and up to 10 hours per day.
• Follow strict safety standards on and off the road
• Operate an electronic device for GPS and daily records
• Have a positive can-do attitude
Delivery Driver Requirements:
We provide on-the-job training so that all of our employees feel confident on the road and the doorsteps of customers. Other requirements include:
• Be 21 years or older with the ability to read and speak English for safety
• Have a valid driver's license within the state of employment (a commercial driver’s license (CDL) is not required)
• Be able to operate and navigate a delivery van, weighing 10,000 lbs. or less (you do not need to provide your own vehicle)
• Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation
What is an Amazon delivery service partner?
Amazon has partnered with local Delivery Service Partners (DSPs), independent delivery organizations that help Amazon deliver thousands of packages to customers every day. As an employee of an Amazon delivery service partner (DSP), you will work directly for the DSP that operates out of a local Amazon delivery station.

Health and safety are always a top priority for Amazon and the Delivery Service Partners Amazon contracts with. In partnership with one another, Amazon and the DSPs continue to consult with medical and health experts, and take all appropriate recommended precautions to keep everyone healthy.

So we have had a little winter weather followed by quick snow melts making for some delivery challenges all handled in stride by our amazing team. Another visit to the car wash will be in order soon enough.

A little car wash TLC on our vehicles this week after last week's snow storm has our vehicles looking brand new again. Our drivers hard at work getting all the dirt, salt, and grime off making the vans smile again.

KC Gopher delivers in all weather conditions. Today, our driver Kevin, said this reminds him of Baghdad in July. 20 degrees, snow and ice.....probably not Baghdad in any month, but we appreciate Kevin's enthusiasm and our customers appreciated all of the smiles we delivered today. PEAK continues as we count down 10 days to Christmas and 2 well deserved days off for the KC Gopher team. Our drivers were out delivering packages while dodging high winds in rural Kansas today with vans full of smiles. Our awesome team has grown from 10 employees and 5 vans to 43 employees and 20 vans in the past month. KC Gopher... delivering smiles for the holidays no matter what Mother Nature throws at us. Day 1 of PEAK came and went. We saw teamwork loading up our vehicles and empty vans at the end of the day with only 3 packages coming back to station as undeliverable. KC Gopher getting it done! Up next Day 2! Bring it.

Today Team KC Gopher rests while spending time with friends and family. No smiles to be delivered today, but over the next 30 days as we enter "PEAK", our amazing team will be working overtime to deliver packages and smiles to all of our customers.
