The American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) annual conference is in our hometown of Chicago next week!

It's about time to meet Kevine Dinh, our Senior Project Engineer. Kevine has worked in the industry for over 27 years. Kevine is responsible for delivering safety, performance, and sustainability standards for our entire product line.

Kevine works hand in hand with UL (Underwriters Laboratories) to ensure every one of our products is evaluated to help mitigate risk, injury, or danger.

Time to meet Thomas (Tom) Palzer our CFO! Mr. Palzer has over forty years of experience working with manufacturing companies. Eighteen of those years were with Hartmarx Corporation in their Hart Schaffner & Marx and Jaymar Ruby Inc. subsidiaries. He was the Chief Financial Officer of Wells Lamont Corporation for eight years. He also served as the Chief Financial Officer of Powervar, Inc. for seven years and spent time as the Chief Financial Officer of SWC Technology Partners, LLC, and Color Communications, LLC.

Mr. Palzer is a Registered Certified Public Accountant with the State of Illinois. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Eastern Illinois University and his Masters of Business Administration from Loyola University Chicago.

He is also an avid bicyclist and golfer.

Two years ago today, while the world was locking down, NXT Power officially launched and started developing next-generation power quality products.

Over the past 2 years, we have engineered over 16 products with over 100 models, grew our team from 3 to 25, opened two international offices in Mexico City and Milan, Italy and attended multiple tradeshows worldwide. (phew...catches breath)

And we have no intentions of stopping!

In our ongoing “Meet the Team” series we would like to showcase our Director of Service, Shawn Weber. Shawn gives off a high energy (and these are his words) “get er done” spirit!

Shawn has 30 plus successful years of power quality industry experience in service program development, product support and training, and technical service of systems ranging in size from 80 VA to 3.6 MVA; as well as supporting customers from small entrepreneurial start-ups to large multi-national corporations. In his role as Director of Service at NXT Power, he brings this "get er done" attitude to the team and to our customer experience.

When Shawn is not hard at work ensuring our clients are well taken care of, you will find him enjoying downtime with friends and family, travelling to new places, or at home restoring vintage railroad lanterns.

Next up on our “Meet the Team” series is our Director of Engineering, Cherian Jose. As a young boy, Cherian was always “curious about how stuff works". With his older brother at his side, Cherian could —for hours—be found tinkering with small appliances and learning how things worked by taking them apart and re-assembling them.

In his role as Director of Engineering at NXT Power, Jose applies his 30 years of experience for new product innovation and understanding the mechanics to ‘make it happen’ in designing each power conditioner and UPS system produced by the company.
