As a 15+ year resident of Logan Square, I am so excited to join forces with other Chicago vintage shops and small businesses in this historical building. From the LSA website: "Built in 1915, The Logan Square Auditorium is a historic ballroom located in the heart of one of Chicago’s most vibrant neighborhoods. Enriched with elegant details, the LSA hosts a range of events from concerts to weddings, special events and festivals."

This weekend, I'll be participating in a LIVE Marathon, hosted by , to celebrate World Kindness Day! There will be a new batch of shops every hour, from 12-6pm CT on Saturday and 12-7pm CT on Sunday. Hi! 👋 My name is Stacey and I am the face behind Hold Tight Supply Co. 🤎💐 I thought this would be a great time to reintroduce myself, since we have some new friends that have joined us in the last few days - and the last few months since my unplanned "summer sabbatical." I originally started this account in the spring of this year, after being inspired by the experiences I had clearing out both my childhood home and my grandma/uncle's house. The way that older items can jog a memory, bring a smile (or a tear), and share love that has been embedded deep within them made my heart so full. It also made my closets and home very full. In general, it is hard for me to let go of things (I tend to "Hold Tight," as it were 😉) but I discovered that finding new homes for these pre-loved items brings me so much joy! I have loved digging for buried vintage treasures for this shop, in hopes of giving them a second life with some of you.

So excited to head back to to take part in their fall "Halloween Makers Market" this Saturday 10/23! Featuring small business makers and sellers, food trucks and live music. All in addition to their usual delicious hard cider and family-friendly bowling!

The market will be outside on their spacious, dog-friendly patio. The same space where Hold Tight held our inaugural pop-up over the summer! I hope to see some of you out and about this weekend. I have tons of fresh goods that I have been collecting for you over the past few months, and can't wait to share them in person! This week has gotten away from me - what with TWO pop-ups coming this weekend - so in lieu of a regular weekly drop on Wednesday, I am going to do a massive haul video Tuesday afternoon with pre-claims! (I'm calling it a haul video, but if I'm accepting pre-claims, wouldn't that just make it a story sale? 🤷🏻)

If you don't know what a "haul video" is, it's basically just a video that I will share in my stories of all the things I found on my latest thrifting and sourcing trips for the shop. It's more casual than a typical drop or story sale, but you can claim anything you see in the video! I made a number of stops this past week and have a TON of really amazing new-to-us items to share. I never know when something I bring home might make its way into a drop, so this way, you can see it ALL first - before I put it into my inventory closet for a later collection!
