Today was a great day!

It was our first time at spearfishing.

We shot and took three large barracuda in Playa De Carmen.

These fish are serious predators and fight to the end.

I learned a lot about spearfishing and freediving and it is alot harder than it looks.

Watching too much spearfishing on YouTube had me thinking I was going to clean up.

I’m a decent swimmer, we scuba dive. But this is a different thing, obviously much harder and takes much more effort.

For a seemingly simple dive, there’s a lot going on, swimming against the current, so to keep the line behind you, holding the speargun, looking for fish, adjusting the snorkel.

Our guide Alejandro got on top of each one of them first, got the first shot on them, and while trying to swim away I came up and shot each with to secure and finish it.

Alejandro is a pro and also offers tours as well, so if your ever down this way, definitely give him a holler. We much would have preferred to stick with him than our scheduled tour, which ran into a few bumps in the road. Lol

The last one, after taking to spears, started to charge at me, mouth wide open, with big gnarly teeth showing, luckily didn’t snag me.

Their teeth and mouths full of bacteria and can cause infection.

After they got cleaned up, we took a tone of fillets back to the hotel for ceviche, shashimmy and fish fry.

It was amazing. Best fish I ever had.

It just tastes better when you harvest it yourself.

I was glad to have so much and was able to share with everyone at dinner.

The chef did an amazing job preparing it, absolutely delicious.

Great day of some golf in Cancun with se of the best in the business!
Lots of different wildlife here, some I’m not even sure of the names.
There were signs out warning of alligators but didn’t see any.
Glad to be here and spending some quality time with you all!

Great game last night Phoenix SUNS! Got to watch it with my boy Greg Nichols
We came from behind in the 2nd quarter, and held the lead throughout the game to take the W against the Clippers!
Big win needed here to tie series before going on the road
Booker had a great game with 38 points.
LA had pretty strong defense so this made the game very exciting.

The seats in 5th row were awesome and so close to the court you feel much more of the game intensity and tension.

Focus on exactly where your going, don’t look long at obstacles (people) as you’ll go wherever you see.
Going fast remember you need to be alert and aware. Last thing you want is an accident. Saw too many out there. First part of the season i think everyone’s a lil anxious and jumpy to get out there.

The original loan had been seller financing, so my client had a contract agreement with the owner to buy this house, and upon an initial review, he was able to refinance the loan into his name sooner than he thought.
