We were absolutely delighted to welcome Caroline and her family for an extended stay at our Enchanted Escape in Kissimmee, FL! They enjoyed the Disney-themed touches without feeling overwhelmed, and they even made use of our additional cleaning service during their stay.

We also learned a fun bit of British-American translation: did you know that in the UK, a 'cot' means 'crib'? We sure do now, thanks to Caroline! We’ve added a second crib to make sure our littlest guests are extra comfy! 👶👶

Thinking of those impacted by Hurricane turned Tropical Storm Debby 🙏. We were fortunate not to sustain any damage, including flooding at our vacation rentals, though the Savannah area is still waiting for the water to recede in some areas. Guest safety is very important to us. We were glad we could reschedule or refund nights not stayed to impacted guests this week. One of the best things about Georgia in the summertime: fresh peas and beans! My Granny always makes them best. The ones they have at John's Produce Inc. in Dallas and Marietta, GA have the added bonus of already being shelled for you! I'm not sure if y'all grew up like I did shelling peas and beans, but it's quite the workout.

Not into peas and beans? Farmer John's also has the most delicious vine-ripe tomatoes, boiled peanuts (Dallas, GA location), along with juicy sweet watermelon, cantaloupe, and just about any other fruit you can imagine. Check them out 😎

His flaw may be having too many Superman shirts and wearing them to the wrong theme parks, but we can let that slide 🙂. When mom needs just one more picture of her food 😆. This kid cracks me up! In all seriousness, if you haven’t tried , go check them out! is just below our vacation rental condo in Downtown Savannah on Bay Street. It’s our go-to for brunch every time we visit! The food is creative and so delicious! They made this pregnant lady happy by granting my wish to add 3 fruits to my stack of pancakes (bananas, strawberries, and blueberries 😋). I added cheesy grits, too - you can’t go wrong there. That cold brew coffee, too - a must try! The dishes for meat-eaters are even more exciting and creative. We love that they made it fun for our 4 year old, too, with the twisty straw and mini pancakes with dipping syrup. As always, thank you for a great experience!
