ππ£π Field Day coming soon!
We NEED your help! This year we are completely changing up the format for Field Day and making it a "Station Activities Field Day", which means classes will rotate around the PE area and partake in 12 different activities for 6 minutes at a time... FUN!
To make this the BEST Field Day ever, I need YOUR help!
Each session will be 1.5 hours:
4/5 - 7:50 - 9:20
K/2 - 9:30 - 11:00
1/3 - 11:10 - 12:40
You would be volunteering to STAY at one station for the 1.5 hours. I would say that if you want to walk around with your kid, you might not want to sign up for that specific block. IF you can spare an extra hour or so and sign up to help out with the block before or after your childs, that would be a hugeeee help!
I am going to make things as easy as possible for volunteers. Kids are practicing the games this week, so when Field Day comes, they will just need a quick reminder (there will be a directions sheet for all volunteers) and off they go.
Example: You are in charge of the "Sack Race" station. Every 6 minutes a new class comes up, they will split into 4 teams (their teachers will have this info) and you will quickly remind them of the rules and watch them play for 6 minutes. I will blow the horn and the next class will come over!
Again, you would be doing us a HUGE favor with volunteering for a spot and it would mean a ton to your kids to know their parents helped make this day a success!
Thank you in advance!
Coach Nielsen

βοΈπ£οΈ This morning at our first βCoffee & Conversationsβ, Mrs. Wheatley and Mrs. Brengel had a wonderful opportunity to meet with parents for an informal discussion about various topics that are important to our valued parents. We had conversations about disciplinary procedures, mental health services for kids, music clubs, and sidewalk safety, among other topics. These "Coffee and Conversations" sessions will be a monthly gathering. Whether you have questions about the school or just want to connect with our administration, these gatherings offer a platform for meaningful dialogue and a chance to meet other parents in our vibrant community.
