Early Monday morning at 12:10 am as everyone celebrated New Years Day, an accident occurred when my cousin, Jesus, got hit with a stray bullet, that someone shot in the air for celebration, hitting him through his chin into his lung.
Since he does not have insurance, he was admitted to a private hospital.
To date, he has had two surgeries performed, and can't recover from his lung quite yet. Upon entering, a deposit was given and as soon as possible but the entire visit has my aunt and uncle struggling to make the $9,000 dollar payment for his hospital visit.
If anyone finds it in their heart to support, and lend out a hand to help my family, I would thank them wholeheartedly today for my cousin and tomorrow for you. Whatever you like to contribute is well received and highly appreciated.
