~Lupus can affect any organ or tissue, from the skin or joints to the heart and kidneys. Two leading causes of serious illness and death from lupus are kidney disease and heart disease~

LGLAF is partnering with Spectrum Chiropractic and Health this month to help fill backpacks with school supplies for 8 schools within Lenawee County. We hope to help them fill 1000 bags this year for all grade levels!! Drop off your school supply donation to Lenawee Recreation during business hours. Thank you for your support🙂💜

Thank you Adrian College Athletics Men's Volleyball for hosting Lupus Awareness Night! You were fantastic! Thank you to all those who came out to support our foundation.

We are a non-profit foundation started in our memory of Darrin & Melissa Griewahn's daughter and Lupus warrior, Lauryn.

Through this foundation we hope to not only honor Lauryn's memory, but to also raise awareness of Lupus, to advocate for Lupus and support research for a cure.

There is also a memorial scholarship available to graduating seniors who wish to further their education upon graduation from any high school within Lenawee County.

Come out Friday night to Adrian College and help support the men's volleyball team as they help us raise awareness for lupus! Game time is 7:00 pm 🏐💜

Memorial Day is an American holiday, observed on the last Monday of May, honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. Memorial Day 2023 will occur on Monday, May 29.

The "spoon theory" is a visual representation to help explain to healthy friends and family what it's like living with a chronic illness. If you only had 12 spoons per day, how would you use them? Lauryn used most of hers in volleyball 🏐😉
