Custom Made-To-Measure Boots;
Honoring and continuing the legacy of Clemons Boot Co. Roseburg OR

Following up on the new development teaser from last week. I'm excited to present BUCKS Chelsea boot. Really pleased for a first run prototype. Used a sewing machine I not fully comfortable on so the stitching could be a bit better. As always made to measure (Bespoke).

A little sad to see these leave the shop today. 16" of fire boot goodness that was fun to look at and a great attention draw when people walked through the door.

Some weeks ago I had the opportunity to pitch my business at a local business development center pitch night. Great experience and I learned a lot. I did take third place and $2500 but the real prize can quite unexpectedly. I had included is my planned use for the funds to by one of two yet needed sewing machines. After the show a gentleman approached me and said he had a machine I might want. We connected a few days later and behold, nearly the indentical machine I was saving money to buy. This machine was sitting in storage with no purpose or plan for use. Price? It was too good to be true. He asked that I make him one pair of shoes. Wow, what a blessing!!

Thought I'd share a post from a private boot group...

I recently took in a project for a loyal customer. He found these Currin-Greene calks and recognized them as a brand his dad wore back in the day. He wanted to make daily drivers out of them so I did a full rebuild and converted them to a V100 sole. Amazing detail in the construction and leather unlike anything I'Ve seen. it was a fun change of pace and great chance to handle a piece of PNW boot history. Currin-Greene was an old company out of the Seattle area. Here is a Reddit about them. https://www.reddit.com/.../curringreene_shoe_mfg_co.../
