A question we get a lot is “how does my fly line look?” If you have had your fly line for a few years now, or for more dedicated anglers, even less time than that, it’s worth checking to make sure that your fly line is still doing what it’s supposed to.

In some cases, your old fly line may even be working against you, making fishing trips more difficult than they should be. We know that sometimes it can be hard to know when your fly line is ready to be retired, so we put together this guide to help.
