I have used this tray for so many purposes! It has masqueraded as a charcuterie board, a wine and cheese board, Christmas decor tray, server, and now the perfect espresso delivery device! Of all the pieces I've made over the past several years, this one is my most versatile!

This white centerpiece box is a great way to decorate any table or countertop during the holiday season, ands all year round! It's made from poplar wood so it's heavy and durable! The paint is enamel in bright white and has been sanded down to give it a weathered farmhouse look.

Lumber, leggings, and Lattes! These are three of my favorite things! And how cute are those farmhouse ornaments?!

Lumber: I have always loved creating and building things with wood. Creating new and beautiful things out of a material that on it's own carries a natural beauty. The grain, the colors, the cuts, they all combined to a perfect medium for building and creating functional and decorative pieces. Working with wood makes me feel connected to my grandpa and my dad. They both taught me to love working with my hands and becoming comfortable with power tools. As an added fun fact, my favorite class in middle and high school (after social studies) was shop class!

Leggings: I mean what is there to really say about leggings? They are life! A multi purpose article of clothing that can go from bed to date night ands all the activities between. My all time favorite brand is Zyia! I have owned lots of brands, but the Zyia brand holds up the best and the light-n-tight style is like a butt lift, tummy tuck, and a hug all in one! The ones I'm wearing are the metallic grey light-n-tights.

Lattes: I'm a mom... Enough said! I actually didn't start drinking coffee until I was in my mid twenties. And then it was mostly mocha (more milk and syrup than coffee). Now you will most often catch me drinking black coffee, but I love creating new drinks with my Nespresso.

Honestly these three things keep me sane and are a vital part of me being a nicer person and a better wife and mom to my boys. Raising three active little men is hard! So being able to be active, and ready to go, go, go, is essential. The woodworking and working out is my "me time" that keeps me refreshed and ready to take on what my family needs.

Another coffee, another batch of lumber to sand, paint, poly, and decorate! All while I watch a handful of Christmas movies.

What are your favorites Christmas movies? I love all the classics, but I'm checking out some of the cheesier romcoms right now.

Let's play a little game of this, that, or the other. What is your farmhouse style favorite? Classic white, traditional, or rustic? I, personality, lean more traditional, but I do like the extra character in the rustic style.
