Two Theodores on a mission, Teddy Min( Dave’s son) and Ted Perle at Bull Barbour Park in Irvine. Elect Teddy’s dad to represent us in the 37th Senate District and re-elect me to keep fighting for us on the DPOC Central Committee in the 68th

I do not want to see a fall campaign based around Barysma,
Hunter, and Ukraine once more. I honestly believe that Senator Sanders demonstrates the best chance to defeat Trump and Trumpism because new and positive ideas matter.

Merlot Perle, The Beautiful Girl, is smiling because just Ike her human, Ted, she walks for Democrats as well as true democratic values that will be heard from Ted if he’s re-elected to the DPOC Central Committee from the 68th Assembly District!!

Something to remember this primary season:
“ Socialism never took
root in America because the poor do not see themselves as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires”. —
John Steinbeck

Speaking up for GOTV and Democratic candidates is all part of the job.

“ The Billionaire Election”, the lead article in today’s “ Sunday Review “ section of the New York Times, should be required reading for every voter.

Tonight’s Nevada performance ratings:

Warren
Biden
Sanders
Klobuchar
Bloomberg/ Buttigieg (tie)

Liz did an admirable job taking Buttigieg apart for his inexperience and lack of clear policies as well as clearly defining hers, Joe was the leas dysfluent and most focused I’ve seen him so far in this series of media circuses, Bernie said nothing really new, but did an admirable job reacting to the Culinary Workers flap, Klobuchar slipped a bit and was rightfully questioned about her role as a prosecutor in Minneapolis, Bloomberg came off like the vanilla Republican he was before 2018,and Buttigieg presented like the entitled inexperienced brat he is.

Mitt Romney’s vote to convict reflects JFK’s “Profiled In Courage.”

Yes, something is rotten in Iowa.

Luckily, it’s easy to fix. Here’s how.

Abolish the caucus system ( essentially an overly hyped popularity contest) in favor of primary elections where all voters state their preference through the secret ballot. I would add several innovations as well. First, change Election Day from Tuesday to Saturday to increase voter turnout, especially in places that have not adopted the changes we’ve made in Orange County. Secondly, stagger the dates of Presidential primaries on a two -week basis of five-states-per-primary from February through June.

Would love to read your thoughts on this.

Just one more reason to support The Green New Deal.

John Bolton must testify. His observations are not “ unsourced.”

Step out your front door.

Watch or listen to a weather forecast.

Notice the increases in food prices when you shop.

These are a few signs that what we used to call
“ global warming” has become the existential threat of climate change that we once thought couldn’t happen.

We have a chance to slow it down if we act as a society in the same way our parents, grandparents, and great grandparents acted to win World War Two.

That opportunity exists. It’s called The Green New Deal and I support it.

I was 15 when I watched Dr.King give his “ I Have A Dream” speech on a black-and-White Admiral TV in the family den on a street in Whittier, where, shamefully, very few families would have welcomed an African-American family of equivalent economic standing. Sadly, while there has been sporadic “progress” , the dream still remains that people will be judged “ for their character rather than the color of their skin .”

WHERE I STAND:

As a lifelong Democrat and proud third-generation union member, I stand for a $15/hour minimum wage, real solutions to California’s affordable housing crisis, and increased opportunities for vocational education. I have stood and always will stand on a picket line before I ever cross one.

As a retired teacher, I will always stand for and support public education.

As someone who has experienced multiple incidents of cancer within my own family, I strongly stand for single payer healthcare/ Medicare For All.

As the son of a mother who was a feminist before
her time, I stand for a woman’s right to choose and control her own personal healthcare issues as well as the basic common sense principle of equal pay for equal work.

As the proud parent of a gay child, I support and value the right of all human beings to be their authentic selves and love whom they choose.

As the grandchild of immigrants who fled oppression, it is past time to abolish ICE and replace it with a more humane system of entry into the United States that does not practice ICE’s shamefully racist policies of destroying families, detaining children, and denying asylum to people fleeing for their lives.

As a victim of bullying as a little kid, I will always stand with victims of any kind of bigotry and racism.

As a precinct organizer, I know how to turn communities BLUE street by street.

I have brought these values to the DPOC for a decade, and will continue to put them into
action if I ‘m re-elected.

You can trusTED!!
