The brigantine Black Pearl is a sailing vessel in Western NY The brigantine Black Pearl was built in Wickford, R.I. by C. Lincoln Vaughan.

She was launched in 1948 and used as his personal yacht until 1958 when she was
sold to Barclay Warburton III, a wealthy Newport man. Warburton sailed the small
ship to Europe to participate in tall ship competitions and upon his return, founded
