🩷Hi Friends! Not sure if you’ve noticed, but I haven’t been as active on social media lately as I normally am.

🏠Partly because we’ve been busy and have 7 homes (but probably 8) closing escrow this month, which means August was nuts.

🌸Mostly because I have so much to talk about, but I’m struggling to articulate it all. You ever have that problem?

❓For those curious about all the changes in real estate due to the NAR settlement, here is my update now that we’ve been doing things differently for a month.

▪️There is a lot more paperwork.
▪️We have a lot more conversations with our clients.
▪️We have a lot more conversations with other Realtors.
▪️People are still buying and selling and Realtors who do consistent business are handling these changes with ease.
▪️Realtors who do minimal business are struggling more with the changes and paperwork.

💪🏻👊🏻Bottom line…after 30 days of dealing with all the changes, it’s feeling like business as usual now.

💯I can’t stress enough, however, that partnering with a Realtor that is savvy with contracts is imperative. It’s always been important, but adjusting to new terms has made it even more critical.

🩷Happy National Pink Day! We often associate pink with October and Breast Cancer awareness, but let's not wait until October to think pink. Summer is a great time to catch up on doctor appointments and if you haven't had a mammogram in a while, let this be your reminder to schedule one now and don't procrastinate until October.

🩺A few years ago I let it slip to my friends that I hadn't been to the doctor in a while and they all got on me to schedule my appointments. I wasn't super speedy to schedule, but if it weren't for their nagging I probably wouldn't have gone. Luckily I didn't have anything wrong. It was a huge relief to get my mammogram and know I was okay. It's really silly how so many of us don't get a mammogram because we're scared to know the results, but we hear it over and over again that early detection is key. So, if you're anything like I used to be, let this be your sign to schedule your mammogram now. Hopefully you'll also be totally fine, but if not...the sooner you know and can get after it the better. So, don't be like I used to be. Go and schedule it now! XO
