This last week, the Itasca Campus - Minnesota North wrapped up College for Kids! 🌞📓 310 kids, ages 4-12, spent the week on campus. Each child got to choose 3 classes ranging from sewing, theater, exploring careers, LEGOs, lacrosse, and soccer. There truly is a class for every kid. College for Kids' goal is to try something new in a fun, safe, and engaging environment. 👏 ✨

Our Rainy River Men’s Basketball Coach is participating in the Race Across America, the world’s toughest bicycle race tomorrow! We wish him the best of luck. 🚴👏

Good luck to our head basketball coach, Bill Engel, on his Race Across America that starts tomorrow! Bill is riding with a friend, raising money for disabled veterans. They will have 9 days to complete the race, racing over 3,000 miles in 12 states.

For 42 years, Race Across America has been challenging ultracyclists from around the globe to push their physical and mental limits to the farthest reaches. Starting in Oceanside, under one of the longest piers in California, RAAM spans over 3000 miles, climbs 175,000 feet, crosses 13 states, and finishes on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) has announced its Spring 2024 MCAC Elite Team. The award recognizes student-athletes who combined outstanding academic and athletic performance through the Spring 2024 season. Honorees must have earned MCAC All-Academic honors as well as All-Division, All-Conference, All-Region, and/or All-American honors in the sport of men's basketball, women's basketball, wrestling, golf, baseball, or softball.

Blazing success this last week at the 2024 Wildland Fire Academy hosted by our Itasca Campus - Minnesota North: 454 students, 18 courses, 365 classroom hours! 🔥 Proudly hosted students from 6 states (Minnesota, Missouri, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin), with Minnesota leading the pack. With 100 instructors and 30 IMT members, our fire-ready community grows stronger.

Minnesota North College's partnership with The Forge presents a Core Construction summer course! This course features online coursework and 4 in-person lab days at The Forge. Learn the basics to work on a construction site, as well as skills necessary for safety and tool utilization. The summer course will take place June 3rd-July 26th! Enroll in this summer class today!
