The history of soap is more interesting than I originally anticipated… the more you know!
Fun Fact!
George Washington Carver is credited with inventing about 300 uses for the peanut. One of them being soap! If you have his recipe, please share below!! I’m trying to find it and the search is not going well. 🤦🏾♀️
Fun Fact!!
Soap is said to have gotten it’s name from the Ancient Roman legends of “Mount Sapo”. The water that washed down from the mountain, mixing with animal fats and ash, made a soapy mixture in the rivers.
