It's hard to believe but there are still roughly 85 days of harvest left for most warm season crops in our area. To see what we have available this week please see the Comment section below.

If you've ever picked Okra in August you know it's that much more satisfying when you get it to the kitchen. Mid-summer Copperheads, Timber Rattlers, and the "Okra Itch" make sleeves, jeans, gloves, and snake boots the standard attire.

Heads-Up Oconee Customers: With Orchard Park Elementary reopening soon, our Westminster pickup location has moved just a few hundred yards west down Hwy 123. Thank you to the good folks at Barron’s Antiques for allowing us to meet Customers in their lot!

My greatest joy in Gardening each season is watching how God can transform a seed the size of a speck into a productive plant over 6 feet tall - in less than 90 days. 😳 We seeded our final 500' of Okra last week; we have just over 2500 row-feet planted this year. It should bear until first frost, which usually occurs early/mid November in our area. ❤️

Okra season is upon us! Below is Mrs. North Georgia Fresh, my wife of 31 years, picking on a hot summer day in a prior year. We'll have Jing-Orange Okra on a limited basis next week, and all other varieties in the weeks that follow. We'll post availabilty of all crops tomorrow (Sunday 6/21/20) by 7PM. Thank you for your support of our family-owned small business!

If you haven't had our Yellow Squash and Zucchini you're in for a real treat! I pick them small which keeps them bright, crisp, and fresh. Keeping 500 row feet of squashes going March-November means we have plants started in our seed stations at all times to replace the plants that have reached maturity. Both of these pictures were taken today. Just send a private message if you'd like to give these beauties a try!
