🐾 Can you tell which one was submerged in 4ft of dirty flood water? Because I can't!
One of these Coconut dogs is mine, and one is my sister's that was under water for a day or so. 😭 He was so dirty when I got him that he was kind a brownish gray, but now he's looking great again! 🧼✨ And seriously, I've already forgotten which is which, but I think mine is on the right? 🤷‍♀️

⭐ Latest addition to the office! ✨
In the continued theme of 90's 2000's toys and decorations, I added the glow in the dark stars I found to my office ceiling! 🤗 Who else had these in your room?

I've been looking for these for awhile now! 🙌 Found 2 of the 5 music boxes from our childhood room! I also found an Esmeralda one, but that one needs some repairs 🥴 Another learn-as-you-go project for another day! 😂
Isn't this Beauty and the Beast one so pretty? 💛🥀 And in such great shape! Now I just need to find the Cinderella, Marie, and Anastasia ones! 🤞👀🤞

Who remembers i-dogs? 😍 I found this guy on my last trip to the storage unit, and now he's got a permanent spot on my desk 🐾 Stay tuned for a reel of him in action! 🩷

SquishRescue is now performing doll surgeries 👩‍⚕️🩷
Molly was the first patient, and even though there was a bit of a learning curve, surgery was a success! 🥰 Four of my six childhood dolls had extremely loose limbs (see videos in the comments!) and needed their joints to be restrung. It's a pretty invasive process, but as of this post 3/4 are done! 🙌 After this they're ready to hang out in my office with all my other Squishmallows and toys! 😍✨

Josefina's hair is saved thanks to Reddit! 💇‍♀️✨
Josefina was my first doll when I was 9 or 10 years old, and as such, I took out her perfect braid almost immediately after opening her 😭 It's been something of a rat's nest ever since, but thanks to the American Girl subreddit, her hair is saved! 🩷 A conditioner wash followed by a boiling water rinse, and she looks as good as new! 🙌 I haven't been able to get a brush all the way through her hair in YEARS, but look at her now 🥹 Unfortunately for her and a few other dolls, next is restringing their joints 😬🙃

While I've still been tinkering around the last couple of weeks, it's been sad around the house after the loss of our precious Rudy, and I haven't been as good about posting. 😔 This page has always been rooted in sharing my hobby of repairing fixable toys and the joy it brings me (with the hope it brings you all some joy, too), and I've definitely felt more like I've been "just getting by" the last few weeks. 💔 All the while I've been taking pictures, though, so I have some things to catch you all up on like this snow globe repair!
I'm so happy with how it came out! 🥰 I'll be posting a Reel of part 2 of the repair process, but here's a picture in the meantime! 🩷 What do you think? I think it looks like I just bought it from the Disney Store! 🙌

The last few weeks I've been going through my childhood AG dolls and sorting their things 🤍 I've even gotten a couple new outfits that even predated my time! Another collection, I know 🫣 but in sorting through everything found I had duplicates of these 2 outfits for Emily, Molly's British friend from 1944! 😍 I'm assuming I was given them as gifts and intended to return them or something, but shortly after lost interest in my dolls as I entered middle school (too grown up for dolls, apparently 😂) which leaves me with them to sell now!
The first is Emily's holiday outfit, complete with necklace, bow, and trading cards! 🎄 It will come with a hanger and has never been used! This set will be $25 shipped in the US!
The second is Emily's pajamas! This set also comes with the matching trading cards, and will be $22 shipped in the US 😴

New addition: Birthday Bear with tags! 🥳 Birthday Bear is 8in and is a rescue, as well! I ordered a set of Care Bears that arrived MUCH more dirty than anticipated. Luckily they cleaned up perfectly! 🩷 These Care Bears are from 2003 and Birthday Bear is ready for a new home! 🏡
