🍩Sundays are for Doughnuts
Their doughnuts are made with layers of buttery dough fried to be crisp on the outside and light/fluffy on the inside. A wide range of toppings are available. Small batches are made fresh all day! They have a location on Lincoln in Denver and Parker Rd in Aurora. 🎉😋
🍗Celebrate with my favorite fried chicken in Arvada. This is the only dish that Never comes off the menu because it's freaking amazing. Crispy, juicy, spicy and on Saturdays it's on happy hour from 4-5 for only $11!!!
This is the best restaurant in Arvada and comparable to the best restaurants in Denver. They use French inspired methods, honest Colorado ingredients and the menu changes monthly.

started as a food truck and now has a location on South Broadway in Denver serving authentic New York City Bodega chopped cheese sandwiches. Found in bodegas throughout Upper Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Queens, it is made on a grill with ground beef, onions, adobo or other seasonings, and cheese, all of which are chopped together on the grill as the meat and onions cook and the cheese melts. Big Apple has a plethora of options. I tried the The Sinatra - Classic Chopped Cheese sandwich. Ground beef with grilled onions and melted American cheese topped with lettuce, tomato, mayo and ketchup. 😋

My first time that started in Idaho Springs in 2008 and they now have a second location in Denver on Santa Fe.Their style is borrowed from many regions to bring you their "High Elevation BBQ". The ribs and burnt ends were outstanding. 😋

Mrs. Ocn Eats messaged me at the same exact time as Josh . She asked where I wanted to go for my birthday dinner this past Friday and he told me that I needed to check out their new menu items. I thought this was a sign and boy am I glad I listened as this was one of my favorite meals of the year. Even Mrs. Ocn Eats, who is a picky eater agreed. Every year they make my top 10 Bites of the year and I think those ribs are going to be on this year's list. This restaurant is one of my ATF restaurants. 😋😍🎉

Today is my 58th birthday and since some of you are new here, I thought this would be a good time to reintroduce myself.🎉
My name is Larry Herz and I grew up on Long Island, and then ventured to DC for college at George Washington University. After school I started managing restaurants in NYC. One night while I was managing I got held at gunpoint, and that was when I decided it was time to try something new. So, I came to Denver in 1993 and opened my first restaurant in '94 called Carmine's On Penn, when I was a ripe 27 year old. I ended up selling Carmine's, and opening five more spots with the last one being 730 South in Bonnie Brae.
Why do I do what I do now?
In 2017 after 29 years in the restaurant business I hit the wall and thought "there's got to be something else I could do." Which led me to this unexpected second chapter of my life as a Restaurant Promoter (a job I basically made up).
I wanted to help restaurants in a way that would put butts in seats and give them useful exposure. So, here I am, against my past reluctance to be on camera and social media. But it's grown on me and I'm still working on improving myself on and off the camera. I also want to say thank you to Mrs.Ocneats who puts up with me always being on my phone "working". I can't believe at 58 that I'm saying this, but the phone eats first
I've been married for 24 years and have two beautiful daughters, who are 21 and 23 yo, and of course my precious pup Lucky 🩷

🧅Celebrate .boulder they also have a location .aspen. This steakhouse is one of my ATF restaurants. I find most steakhouses to be very similar but this one has an atmosphere that is romantic, elegant and dramatic. It doesn’t feel like anywhere else in Boulder. The restaurant seats 120, with many private nooks in deep reds and black, a marble bar, black lacquered walls, white tablecloths, velvet seats and a cozy fireplace. Also, don’t overlook the unique experience of ordering a Tableside Caesar Salad. Servers have mastered this traditional art; it’s entertaining to watch, made right before your eyes.

🥯Happy Father's Day! Bagels remind me of going to my local bagel store on Long Island every Sunday with my father. He would let me get a pack of baseball cards at the store next door and then we'd both eat a hot fresh salt bagel in the car on the way home.
Is the closest to the bagels I grew up on here in Colorado.They figured out how to replicate the New York City water that makes their soft and chewy, right-out-of-the-oven bagels, as well as fish smoked and cured in-house, delicious salads, high-end coffee, house made pastries, and so much more!

First visit ever and had great quality chicken using !! It's a great casual spot to grab a reasonably priced lunch. They were founded in 1986 and have two locations in Arvada and Denver. Delicious Kara-Age ($5.50), Chicken Veggie Bowl ($9.75), and Miso Ramen ($12.75)! 😍😋
