The Real Virtual Vintage
Welcome to The Real Virtual Vintage. Your local Central MN resource for handmade Charcuterie Boards.
Couple of bumps but overall this thing is awesome!
Today I got benched. Due to a head injury I can’t go to work and have to limit my operation of some of my equipment. So it’s a great time to fine tune a skill I wanted to perfect. And thanks to supply chains being what they are I can’t get all the colors in a spray can like I’m used to. Instead of waiting we’re just going to learn something new!! Have a great weekend everyone!

This is just a small part of my story and why I’m so passionate about vintage. Two old hand planers: the larger one at the bottom was my grandfathers and I still use it a lot. It’s nothing really special or valuable but as far as material possessions go, this one has been handed down twice already and it is priceless. The handle broke on it so I tried to somehow fit it back together, but it’s just not as strong. Today I found the planer on the top (random antique store) that very closely matched the handle I needed. I wanted it to be right so I paid the 25 bucks so I could steal the handle. Why…? Because its about legacy, it’s about remembering our loved ones in very simple, yet meaningful ways. That’s why I do this
How to go live
Here at The Shop today we have to give some credit to a buddy of mine. He has been my source of inspiration for a bunch of projects we’ve done. He has also been a great friend and a very valuable asset not only to my business but also my life. You know who are. Love ya man, keep rolling.
Alright, it’s time for the next project. I’m going to attempt to put an oak board between 2 pine ones. Should be a pretty cool cheese board when it’s done.
Another completion by The Real Virtual Vintage. This will be a pretty fun delivery. It’s going to a little guy and I’m sure he’s excited!
Wrapping this one up over the weekend. Summer is booking out if you have a restore or wood project in mind send me a message. I can do the whole project, part of it or if you have questions ask away.
Can’t wait to hear about what they are up to!!
On to its a new home! Another completion from The Real Virtual Vintage
Spring is here! Did you know The Real Virtual Vintage can also do specialty repair? With over 20 years of fixing things there isn't much I haven't seen. I am booking out for March and would love to chat with you about your project or ideas. Just a few of the things we can do: Power Wheel Toys, Battery Operated Tools, Furniture, and anything Vintage. We think outside the box.
Checked out this cool space in Brainerd today! Thanks Chris for the tour and I look forward to connecting soon. MN Makerspace
