Laura LaBeau - Soulfully Fed

Hi! I’m Laura. I’m glad you’re here. I love empowering women, parents and kids to make easy swaps to natural products that help them feel better.

I’d be honored to be your guide!

One thing I’m really proud of in my life are the lifelong friendships that have not just maintained but flourished despite time and distance.

There’s not a part of my life that I don’t remember being a part of. From playing Barbies in her basement to attending Bible camp every summer to becoming moms and wives… and everything good and hard and fun in between.

We’ve now officially spent more time apart (mostly in different states thanks to me🤣) than we did growing up😳 (we are NOT old lol)

But every time we’re together it’s as if no time has passed and we just pick up right where we left off. It’s not ideal and I would love if we could spend more time together, but it’s us. We’ve figured it out.

I’m proud of us, BFF💜

Swipe for a fun throwback➡️

I posted this in my stories today and I thought it deserved a permanent spot on my feed.

For years I was such an anxious passenger that it was just better for everyone if I drove.

If you’re interested in watching a 5 min video that explains how my viral mental wellness drink works, comment ME below.

Last year I was in so much physical pain and I was finally able to admit the truth: I was burned out from chronic stress.

Short fuse.
Deeply exhausted.
Lots of anxiety.
Easily overwhelmed.
Negative and cynical.

I just had no desire to do much of anything.

Why do I share this alongside a picture of my husband and I after playing tennis?

Because yesterday we both had the energy to play 3 sets of competitive tennis.

Sure, we’ve got aches and pains after almost 3 hours of play but this wouldn’t have happened last year.

Healing is a choice. It must be fought for. Healing requires honesty and grit and TIME.

A year ago I was just starting to hear about Happy Juice and what it was doing for my friend . I was still 5 months away from one of the best yeses of my life.

You are deserving of healing. You are worthy of joy, peace and freedom.

It’s never too late to say yes.

Comment YES in the caption for a $10 off link to my exact first order. Imagine how grateful you’ll be to yourself in one year if you say yes too💜

My favorite thing is getting to witness these powerful women who I get to call my friends succeed.

And ya know what’s funny? I met them all on the internet and have never met in person (yet).

All because of this app and the freedom to work from my phone.

I love you all and I’m so proud.

Who’s ready to join us? There’s room at the table for you, you just have to walk in the room first 💜🫶🏻

As we wrap up this Mental Health Awareness Month, I just want to remind you of a few truths:

1. You are not alone
2. Your life matters
3. You are loved… just as you are 💜

If you’re struggling, please reach out to for help and support.

K love you bye😉

Mindfulness can be one of those terms that make you go 🤔

Here are a few really practical ways to starting incorporating it every day:

1️⃣Mindful Breathing: Take a few minutes to focus on your breath. Observe the sensation of the air entering and leaving your body. This can be done anywhere and at any time to help ground yourself.

2️⃣Body Scan: Take a few moments to mentally scan your body from head to toe, noticing any areas of tension or discomfort. This practice can help you become more aware of your physical state and promote relaxation.

3️⃣Mindful Walking: Practice walking meditation by focusing on the sensation of your feet touching the ground. Pay attention to the movement of your legs and the rhythm of your steps.

Bonus: use apps like Headspace, Calm, or Pause (my personal fav) to guide you through mindfulness exercises and meditations.

Which one are you most likely to try?

I’m preaching to the choir here 🤣 it’s been about a year since my last massage 😳

A massage isn’t just about relaxing your body; it’s a retreat for your mind too.

Reduce stress, enhance your mood, and boost mental clarity. Your mental health deserves this moment of peace. 🌿

Raise your hand if you need to book one ASAP!

Did you know your microbiome gut tissue is responsible for making the majority of neurotransmitters in your body?!

WHY AREN’T WE TAUGHT THIS?

90% of our serotonin alone (which is responsible for happiness & mood) is PRODUCED AND LOCATED IN THE GUT!!!!!

So maybe friends, it’s not all in your head after all.

Let’s heal your gut to improve your mental health, shall we?

The mental wellness tonic I’ve been drinking for 6 months is on sale (May 27 & 28) for 20% off. I would love to help you get started on your gut healing journey.

Comment GUT below and I’ll DM you the link💜

Stretching isn’t just for your body - it’s for your mind too.

Taking a few moments to stretch can reduce stress, improve mood, and boost mental clarity.

Serious question: how many hours a night are you sleeping?

Because if it’s not at least 7-8 hours, we’ve got a problem.

Poor quality sleep impacts all systems of the body: mental and emotional health, cognitive function, immune system, etc.

Drowsy driving can even be just as dangerous as drunk driving 😳

So get off your screens 30 mins before bed, throw some Lavender on the bottoms of your feet and turn on your white noise machine because we are living in our quality sleep era, baby.

Comment SLEEP below if you need $10 off to the one supplement that changed my nighttime routine!

Call up your pal and go on a date!

I recently did this with my friend and I basically made a bunch of cards that had different choices on it - whatever card she chose, we did!

Let’s just say we ate a LOT of carbs 😂

Tag your friend that you wanna go on a friend date with ⬇️

Enough said ☺️

A good therapist can be an integral part of healing but I understand it’s not accessible to all.

But if you have the means to, make the call!💜

This weekend I got rid of 2 full garbage bags of clothes that don’t fit me anymore.

And I’m not just talking about physically fitting… I’m talking about them not fitting my personality or my season of life anymore. But yes, lots of clothes that no longer fit anymore, too.

Clothes are meant to fit the bodies we have, we aren’t meant to fit into clothes.

We’re not keeping them around *in case* they fit someday down the road.

No friend. We are worthy of clothes that fit the bodies we have TODAY. No matter what size.

Ok? Ok. Love you bye.

Commit to getting rid of a few pieces in the comments so we can hold you accountable!

18/05/2024

Go ahead and turn on that DND this weekend, my friend.

We’re so accustomed to checking email, responding to texts, answering calls right away that we forget that it’s healthy to go off the grid.

We’re not meant to be so attached to our devices so my challenge to you is to be unreachable for a period of time this weekend.

Comment below to accept the challenge 💜

A wise friend once told me that she makes sure to create room in her schedule for interruption and I LOVED that.

I honestly hate being super busy - things, appointments, places to be back to back to back. It stresses me out and ugh, yuck.

I love creating room in my schedule for friends when they want to hang out or they need a friend or for a spontaneous night of tennis with my hubby or like today, dozing off while cuddled up to my son.

Busy seasons are ok but I want to challenge you to truly create room in your schedule for interruption.

Do you do this? Share how you make it work in the comments!

Am I saying you need makeup to feel/look good? Not at all.

What I AM saying is that I have an extra pep in my step when I stop to take a few minutes to do my hair or put on makeup or heck, put on a pair of jeans and a cute top instead of leggings.

Whatever that *thing* is for YOU, do that tomorrow and see how it impacts your mood.

Let me know what you’re going to spend a few extra mins on tomorrow ⬇️

PS I don’t sell this makeup but it is honestly the best I’ve ever used so contact my friend .cozy.mom

14/05/2024

Admittedly, I suck at this 🤣

I’ll go days where I’m like hmmm… when’s the last time I had straight up water? Oops🫢

But hey, I try!

So let this be your sign to go drink a glass of water, simply because your body and mind functions better with it!💧

PS if you want a $10 off link to my new fav electrolyte that tastes SO freaking good, comment HYDRATE and I’ll send it on over🥰

Photos from Laura LaBeau - Soulfully Fed's post 13/05/2024

Ya know those things you used to make fun of your mom for when you were younger?

Yea that “thing” for me was her obsession with birds, including hummingbirds. I just didn’t get how cool she was (sorry mom) because guess what?

I’ve taken up hummingbird farming.

And by that I mean I hung up a hummingbird feeder for the first time ever 😂

I tracked their migration, have plans for planting flowers that attract them and have rearranged my office so I can stare at my feeder waiting for them to find it 😂

What’s something you’ve been interested in doing/starting/trying that you just haven’t yet??

PS I was gifted this feeder last week by a friend and ugh, isn’t it so beautiful?

The last several years Jourdan has taken on the dinner making. Not only am I bad at it but I legit don’t enjoy it.

But when he’s in a coaching season (like he is now🥎), we end up eating out a lot and we need to be saving them dollaz for the Mediterranean!

So last weekend I got a meal plan from .mandy and we went all in.

Tonight’s recipe was Mexican street corn tacos w/ crockpot black beans. I think I messed up the black beans cause they were 😳🥴 but those tacos were restaurant level!!

Obviously it’ll take some time and patience finding my way around the kitchen again, but it’ll be worth it in the end!

Plus more family time at the dinner table🥰

What’s your fav weeknight meal to make?

Photos from Laura LaBeau - Soulfully Fed's post 08/05/2024

When I’m mega-rich, I’ll gladly get a massage every week of the year… but alas, haven’t reached that status yet 😉

In the meantime, I choose to spend 20 mins on this acupressure mat 4-5x/week.

Bonus: it’s only in the $25 range.

Some benefits of acupressure are:
•pain relief
•improved sleep
•stress reduction
•better circulation

Kool-aid meaning Happy Juice of course 😉

There are MANY products out there trying to replicate what we have but they are NOT the same. Not even close.

Our Happy Juice trio is from The Mental Wellness company.

It is made with specific strains of prebiotics, probiotics and phytobiotics that are clinically proven to help with our mental wellness, improve signaling between the gut-brain axis, helps our body produce our happy hormones like GABA, serotonin and dopamine naturally.

PLUS this trio also is clinically proven to reduce cortisol levels.

So you’re going to see all these areas of your life start to improve which then contributes to you feeling happy.

And THAT is why they call it Happy Juice.

It’s time to get yours, my friend! Message me NOW for a link (yep, this is your sign)

Last summer I finally bought a couple new rackets and we spent the summer reconnecting with one of my childhood loves - tennis! 🎾

It’s been so fun to play together and it’s so great for our physical and mental health!

What’s something you’d like to pick up again?

04/05/2024

I have to tell you about this awesome app I’ve been using the last couple of months!

It’s called Pause! I discovered it after reading a book by John Eldredge.

It’s the perfect way to reset my heart and mind and reconnect with God.

You can find thousands of meditations and breathing exercises on YouTube, too! Figure out what you enjoy best and spend 5 mins doing it today.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend💜

Last year my friend Kayla got me back into reading fiction by telling me to read

I was so burnt out by life that I needed an escape.

Then I went on to read 35 books in 6 months and have a goal to read 36 this year (although I plan to blow that goal out of the water).

Go get a book to read simply because you want to read it - not because it’ll teach you something or make you better.

What’s in your ⬇️

You knew this was coming, right?😉

If you’re new here, I’ve been walking outside every day for my mental health since March 4, 2022.

That’s 790 days 😱

Walking is bilateral movement and is quite literally soothing to your brain! I learned this from my therapist who was helping me through a mental health crisis.

Add in walking outside and you’ve got the stress-reducing benefits of nature! Can’t beat it.

I’ve walked in all kinds of weather and all kinds of moods but I promised myself at least 5 mins every day.

So I’m going to challenge YOU to do the same starting right now.

Go out, snap a pic and tag me so I can cheer you on 🥳

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and I’d love to share some practical tips with you throughout the month that have helped me in my journey!

I’ve not always been big into journaling, but I’ve been finding it really therapeutic lately.

I will literally just sit and brain dump all my thoughts onto paper and make it a safe space to express myself, even if my thoughts seem irrational.

It helps me organize my thoughts and untangle the mess in my brain (any overthinkers in the room?🙋🏻‍♀️)

If you’re a woman with a cycle, I highly recommend jotting down what phase of your cycle you’re in (menstruation, follicular, ovulatory and luteal) before you journal - I have noticed some patterns with my thoughts and triggers depending on what phase I’m in!

Do you journal? I’d love to hear about it if you do!

Follow .fed for more practical tips this month!

90 days in between these photos!

Less anxiety, overwhelm and stress.

More hope, peace and energy.

Curious about what benefits you’d see if you started drinking Happy Juice consistently every day? Swipe ➡️ to see.

Some people see immediate benefits but most see these gradual improvements over time after 90 days and beyond.

The thing about Happy Juice is, is it helps you produce more dopamine, serotonin and GABA (all your feel-good neurotransmitters).

It’ll balance your hormones, it’ll help you with your stress resiliency, it’ll also support your metabolism, decrease inflammation, decrease cortisol…

So you’re going to see all these arenas of your life start to improve which then contributes to you feeling happy.

And THAT is why they call it Happy Juice.

Comment ‘happy’ to get started today💜
