It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved colleague and friend, Kristofer Shaw. Kris was at Fairfield by Marriott Selma Kingsburg for 8 years and he has done nothing but put great memories in our lives. In the wake of this unexpected loss, we are reaching out to our community for support. The costs associated with the funeral and memorial services are significant, and we also want to ensure that his wife and their three children have the financial support they need during this incredibly difficult time. A gofundme has been set up to help alleviate the financial stress on Kris's family. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference.

In typical fashion, we’re a few days late on this, but believe we’re beyond honored to be recognized as a Top-4 Finalist for Best U.S. Cocktail Bar presented by at this year’s Spirited Awards.

We like to pretend we don’t care about these things. But, in just the third year of business for our little bootstrapped bar, being recognized alongside the likes of and feels damn fine!

All props go to the team that keeps this place afloat through the seemingly weekly apocalyptic events that try to take our industry out.

Our Denny’s have partnered with Tulare County’s participation in California’s Project Roomkey. Project Roomkey is serving an immediate need by housing California’s most vulnerable residents and stemming the public health threat of COVID-19 — as well as supporting hotels and motels that have seen their business evaporate overnight because of the pandemic — the initiative has the potential to become part of a long-term housing solution. Project Roomkey is a promising model to provide care to vulnerable residents in an individualized and supportive setting.
