Another Deck build underway.

Interior framing has begun! Thankful to get the sides on with all this wet weather this week.

Our newest project at RAR Construction is starting to take shape for our Client. With the winter storms in the ATL, we had to work quick on Friday to secure this structure from the high winds. This is going to be an amazing addition to their home once completed. Check back to follow this build journey.

Today we completed this beautiful deck for our client in Chateau Elan. Their 20+old deck was rotted and actually out of code. We ripped the old deck off the house, took down brick columns, and replaced it with this modern Composite deck (fully to code) that will now last for years.

We completed this hardwood install for our client and are just in love with the lighter hardwood they picked.

We are finishing up our clients hardwood floors this week. Entire house rip up of carpet, then 3500+ feet of installation prefinished hardwood. We think this is a huge improvement for this home!

Today consisted of framing for the deck seating and finishing the back side of this massive deck framing and post prep. Plus some of the gorgeous composite decking started to arrive. With 1800 square feet of decking, and a shortage of materials because of this pandemic, we needed to pull all our resources together to find enough decking.

We are undertaking the largest deck build out. When we are 100% completed, this deck will be 45 feet in length and 40 feet in depth. That is 1800 square feet of decking, plus our client wants a gazebo for phase 2 of this build out. Framing is partially completed and tomorrow we start to frame around the swim spa.
To put this into perspective, the swim spa, which looks tiny in this photo is 18 feet long by 8 feet wide and 6 feet height. The original deck, which is in the darker brown color is 20 feet long by 12 feet depth.
The new deck will be finished using the trex system for the floor decking.
This will be an amazing deck, so watch for the day by day photos.

Starting a new pool deck for our clients this week. This build will be extra special with a huge deck entertainment area around a swim spa. Our clients have requested a mid century modern design esthetic using composite top decking. Watch for our photo journey over the next 2 weeks.

Today we are beginning a new outdoor patio living space for our client using Trex Decking. We can't wait to share and post the reveal when we are done.

RAR Construction is starting to prepare this clients back yard for a swim spa pool and decking surrounding the pool.

*First step was to create the concrete areas for the 17,000 lb swim spa and add a new walkway.

*Check out the special scribed stone that our client asked us to incorporate into the pathway entrance into the garden.
