Our small staged reading was absolutely amazing! Our feedback session was so helpful. I now get to work on the script more, using your suggestions. I love this collaboration! This will help to realize a full production.

Some have recently asked about the difference between a staged reading and other types of performances. A staged reading is where the actor/actors are still working with their scripts in-hand,not fully memorized. The purpose of the staged reading is to see what works with the script or what needs to be changed. Information that the audience provides in terms of feedback, then helps the writer to make changes to the script, and then get it fully produced. It’s a vital step and I am so grateful that you’ll be there to help me develop the script.

Join us for a dark and hilarious journey, from the wilds of British Columbia, to the seedy side of South Congress, from dreams deferred, to hopes resurrected. Edith Piaf meets Edith Bunker! A “perfectly imperfect”, honkytonk loving, manic-depressive who finds the beautifully broken, yet happy ending.”

So, I have reclaimed a dream to become a performer. I have written a one-person show, “Standing on the Gone Side of Leaving”. I will be workshopping the script over the next few months, and will have it fully produced in the new year. I am incredibly excited to share this journey with each of you!
