We have gathered what is left of our stash and will be parting with it this week.
The headbands will be divided between wigs for kids donations and the hospital for nurses week. The pet merch will be making its way to a shelter!
Goodbyes are sad. But, life has so much in store for us and nursing is my priority right now. I will still be creating and sewing, and will have things up for sale every now and then. But I wanted time to do personal passion projects and move sewing back into being a hobby. For friends who want to work on costumes together, I'm still here for it and we can have a great time making them!
But, this is goodbye from Walker Weares. ✋ It's been a good 3 years 💜

We've got all of the tools to help make dreams come true! We are currently in a re-vamp stage and will be closed to orders until the new year. We promise it will be worth the wait, though! 🥰

📅 JULY BUSINESS DAYS 📅
Yes, every day we spend time working on business. However, these are the days that are strictly dedicated to business, where I will work 6-16 hours on all of our projects!
📤 Subscription boxes will be out later this month!
🪡 Custom commissions: I have roughly 12 open commissions right now, so any further ones will have deadlines well into September
💁♀️ Summer pattern headbands and scrunchies wi be out before the end of the month! (Remember that these are no longer made to order, but premade and ready to ship {RTS})
🎽 We're working on a new tank / bra combo short. Hoping to finish texting out patterns and finalizing details!

It's our shops birthday!!! 😍
💥💥💥 HAPPY 2 YEARS! 💥💥💥
3/2020 - I got laid off from my office management position that I hated. I was looking for other jobs anyways 🤷
4/2020 - I got stir crazy and started creating all sorts of things and started working on what would become my business. I layer the ground work. I got the tools to create my own logo and spent nights discussing business names and what we wanted to stand for as a business. I would stay up all night, some nights, just laying the framework. I reorganized my basement and took over half of it with my new office and workstation.
4/24/2020 - Walker Weares was born!! 🧁 The dream became a reality.
6/2020 - We launched our website and our first headband and scrunchie pattern release. This would be a monthly occurance. We also got officially certified as an LLC!
12/2020 - We ended the year without profit. We have put everything we earned back into growing our business.
2/2021 - I invested in a more industrial sewing machine.
3/2021 - I started working at two hospitals. I would work 2-5 nights a week (12.5 hr shifts.) And so it limited business time slightly.
4/24/2021 - 🎉🎉We celebrated 1 year. 🎉🎉 We did not make a profit our first year, that's okay though! ☺️
10/2021 - we changed from doing monthly releases to quarterly and added subscription boxes to our site.
1/2022 - we updated our logo and branding to represent us better. As all inclusive, happy, strength, and positive vibes.
12/2022 - we ended the year in the negative. But, that's business investment, right?
3/2022 - we LAUNCHED OUR ACTIVEWEAR! This has been the dream and took months of designing, making, and going back to the drawing board for reworks. It happened! We now have activewear on our site and I get to wear me-made merch to the gym, on my runs, and in day-to-day life!
4/24/2022 - we celebrate two wonderful years of growth! 🌱 We truly cannot wait to see what the future holds!
