American band The Mark Price Band recorded a rock and roll album called 'Shine On.' Now some of those songs have been re-worked as southern rockers inspired by Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, Eagles and more. The result is a collection of classic style southern rock songs styled as 'Southern Comfort' version. This is 'Southern Moon,' originally an acoustic piece but now a full band, dusty southern rocker.

The "Southern Moon" album released in 2022

Led by guitarist/songwriter Mark Price, The Mark Price Band is based in Houston, Texas. Following completion of his hard rock album "Shine On", Mark reworked many of that album's songs to create "Southern Moon", a 10-track record influenced by some of his favorite bands, from The Allman Brothers to Lynyrd Skynyrd, from the Eagles to the Outlaws. Mark is joined on "Southern Moon" by vocalist Matt Dame (The Steeldrivers), guitarist Rusty Wright (The Rusty Wright Band), and Ricardo Dikk (producer, bass).
