Dee and I had a great time playing The Mullet last Saturday night! What an awesome place to play! Many thanks to Travis Stanley Harper for having us! Our trio (Dee Johnson,Beth Johnson, and myself will be playing there on December 29! You don't want to miss it!

I want to really thank everyone who came out to my 60th Birthday Bash! I got exactly what I wanted, a night of good music with a lot of hometown friends!!! I want to thank my beautiful wife Kitty for always being there for me and getting the cake and all of the decorations! Baby you da best!! Many thanks to Peter Pun for letting us rock the The Laughing Owl Restaurant! It was great to be around so many talented and seasoned musicians! Jay Thigpen played with me in the 80's and he is going to share the stage with me some in the future! Jay is a really great player! Jim and Patti Bennett thank you so much for coming. Jim, it is always so much fun jamming with you! I can always pick up some stuff from a seasoned player as yourself! Nannette Garrett and C Conley Blake dropped by and I was so happy to be able to do a couple of songs with them. I really appreciate you girls coming on your break durning you gig! My mom was able to come and see her baby boy turn 60 and play music. My sister Judy and her husband Don came from Greenville to join the fun! Love you guys! Thanks to Betty Jean and S**g for coming to the celebration. I am so excited to be playing in my hometown on my birthday! Come on out Friday night and help me celebrate 60! It's gonna be a big party with lots of guest musicians sitting in! Lots of fun!
