That's why I am thrilled to bring back my "September of Service" initiative, started when I served as Mayor in 2019! Join me for a morning of park clean up and beautification on 2 Saturdays in September, from 8 am to 11am, at Hillcrest and Willow Pass parks. Everyone is welcome! Volunteers should come dressed for “yard work.”

Today I was delighted to find a nest with 8 Oak Titmouse nestlings. They are the first passerine nestlings I've found so far this year. I'm guessing they are 4-5 days old. Fortunately their beaks make counting them easy.
