ABNB had a tee-riffic time at the 11th annual Tidewater Chapter of Credit Unions Golf Challenge, which benefited the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters (CHKD). In fact, both ABNB teams tied for third place! The ABNB teams included President & CEO Charles A. Mallon, Jr., Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer Mike McNabb, ABNB Board Chairman Marvin Brangan, Director of Enterprise and Information Security Officer Shawn Hayes, Enterprise Program Manager Carol Cole, Enterprise Systems Manager Mike Stidham, Desktop Support Engineer Ron Johnson, VP of Risk Management Chris Anuswith, and CHKD Philanthropy Officer John Meszkewycz.

Congratulations to Charles A. Mallon Jr., President and CEO of ABNB Federal Credit Union for being elected to the Virginia Credit Union League (VACUL) Board of Directors representing Virginia credit unions in Region 1. Also, a big round of applause for Christopher E. Anuswith, VP Risk Management at ABNB FCU for receiving the inaugural Red Scarf Award for advocacy at VACUL’s 90th annual business meeting. Chris was not able to attend the meeting, so Charles graciously accepted the award on his behalf.

Kudos as well to Chris Williams, CEO at Hedrick FCU for getting the Eugene H. Farley Award and Stan P. Leicester, II, EVP at BayPort Credit Union, for winning the James P. Kirsch Award. We also honor Jeff Moscicki, Chairman at UVA Community Credit Union, who was posthumously honored with the Kirsch Award. His legacy was celebrated by his wife and sons, who accepted the award on his behalf. We applaud Stan and Jeff’s longstanding dedication and service to Virginia credit unions!
