Brown Indian American Baptist Church is an American Baptist mission founded in 1929 to bring the Gospel to the plains Indians of Southwest Oklahoma. Our congregation has existed in some form since the church's founding in the 1920s, making us one of the oldest churches in Cotton County. We continue to meet on the original grounds, and in the original sanctuary built in 1929. Today, our membership is vibrant and diverse, consisting of members from a broad spectrum of races, creeds, and colors.

Good morning! God blessed this week at Brown Indian Baptist Church during VBS! It was a great week! We are so blessed to have wonderful God-fearing, God-loving people, who are like extended family come to spend an entire week with our community bringing the word of the Lord! We said our "see you next time" as three groups left this morning. Two groups are staying an extra day to take in the sights of SW Oklahoma and to worship with us at Brown Indian Baptist Church tomorrow. We invite you to hear them praise the Lord with their awesome voices and musical talents. Till next time ....VBS 2024 is in the books!

Day two of Vacation Bible School at Brown Indian Baptist Church. Adults in Bible study, little ones to teens enjoying singing, creating/ crafting, snacks and learning about Jesus. Following Jesus changes the game. Psalm 25:4. There's still three days left, come join us!

Thank you Mike Reed and Bill Jones for being our front and rear safety escorts! Lord blessed us with a cool morning and no rain! Especially grateful and glad my good friend Rose Jones joined us this morning! She just had a major hip replacement three months ago!

Good morning! Inviting all who can join us on Sunday for the OIABA Singing. Our church will be hosting this awesome event on Sunday, February 25th at 3pm. There will be good singing and tribal hymns. Delicious meal to follow!

Saying our last "til we met again in Glory" to a wonderful woman. She was lovingly known to some of us at Brown Indian Baptist Church as "Pearl". Her smile and kind words have been missed since she was not able to attend services. Our prayers are with the family and friends. Rest in peace Fern.

So, we decided to make peanut brittle for our Christmas candy treat sacks. 1st batch was our tester, kinda dark. But the next 6 batches came out great! Thanks Gwyn for your help! Hope you'll join us Christmas Eve! Merry Christmas!

MERRY CHRISTMAS! We're hosting a toy giveaway for boys and girls, ages 3 -10 years old on Friday, December 22, 2023 from 6pm - 7:30pm. We'll have cookies and punch! We're 4.5 miles south of Walters on hwy 5.
